My second visit took me south of Mademrose, far enough to shoot my way out because of my dumb friend thinking he could make eyes at a Mexican girl! I grew up in Cali and have seen all I want of Mexico! I am in the south and whatever my country decides I can only pray is what the true Americans want or there will be blood shed and it will be on the politicians hands for not listening to the Ameriacan people.

not recently, though i spent a lot of time in central america (you might be surprised to learn that many of the hispanic immigrants that you call "mexican" are actually from el salvador, honduras, nicaragua, guatemala, panama and costa rica). i had a great time and met some incredibly generous, hospitable and fun people there. i learned where to go and where not to go for safety and never had any problems. i did not just go to touristy parts, but travelled freely around with little fear for my safety.

every country in the world has its dangerous parts. just as all of mexico isn't cancun, neither is it all "south of mademrose". the vast majority of the country is made up of normal people trying hard to make a living and build a good life, much like the vast majority of the US.

yes I have been to Mexico, many different places, i wish you could see what my eyes have seen. Very poor people and very humble people....They are grateful to have, what they have. Most grow up in ranches and have to farm land, not land to own, but they rent if from landowners, to make some money from crops, some are squatters....They don't have beds to sleep on at night, nor do most have running water and electricity. There is no social services for their handicap or orphaned child....Most are homeless. We used to have a ministry for poor people....We would just go in the streets and give homeless people blankets, clothes, etc. It was a very eye opening experience and made me so grateful to live in this country.

No I have not been there but I'm moving there in a few years. Don't care what people say about it being so horrible.
