my friend is a 58 year old male . he has just been pinched on his 6 th drink driving charge..at twice the limit...he also has no drivers licence..he has his own business and employs local labour. if he goes to prison he will not only lose contracts but local workers will lose employment. ..what are the chances of his getting prison time ? any advice or opinions welcome..and no..its not me!..lol..cheers..

i mean i bush has cause the USA tons of trouble and confusion over the past years hes been in office! think about how late he was on the hurricane katrina response! or how he wants to drill oil wells in the national artic wildlife refuge were alot of the USA'S beauty lives! or how he wants to cut down the great sequoia trees in california that r GIGANTIC (some as tall as the statue of liberty and as old as when the great pyramids were bulit) beautiful trees! or how he started this huge war! WE WANT OUR SOLDIERS HOME NOW!!!! not in like 2 years....NOW!!!! or how he cant even pronounce economy, when hes the president of the USA!!! that is very sad!!!

Why do I have to tell my Bank of AMERICA ATM machine that I speak English? I'm an American in America. Why do I have to push "1" whenever I want to speak English to a customer service rep? Why do I have to flip boxes around to find the English label?

I've asked a few questions on here, just to see the answers, but this is a really serious one, I'd like older folk to answer mostly, but I want everyone's answers.
Why don't we have us older, experienced guys, go in and take care of business in Aphganistan and Iraq, and Iran? We would know what to do, who to trust, just like the old days in Nam. Why do we get our youngsters killed, when weve already lived our lives?

I am sick of hearing all these children on this site cry about Mexicans just trying to support their families. When you grow up and have to support a family of your own then you will see the hardship that illegal immigrants pose to working Americans that are also trying to put food into their childrens mouth. My employer hasnt hired a legal American in 3 years and pays low wages for their work. My employer hasnt given his legal help a raise in 3 years, hoping we will quit and he can replace us with illegals. This was a good factory job that paid well 3 years ago. They have been reported but nothing came of it. When my wife was pregnant with our little girl, the doctors office was full of mexican women and I could hear the nurse asking them all for their medicaid cards. When I buy groceries they all have food stamp cards. The government wont help me and I have paid taxes all my adult life. I am not the only one that their invasion has affected. So go peddle you pity elsewhere, jerks!

In this Frontline (media source that practically every year wins the truth in journalism award) segment, there are ex-Bush administration cabinet members and officials, as well as, a General, that flat out state and explain how Bush knew. Some of them state they TOLD him themselves.

I have no problem with disagreement or even arguing lol but I do ask that at least debate with me when you know the facts.

Recently there have been new inventions: devices that use radar to allow a user to see through walls up to 6-12 inches thick (even concrete). A device named Radar Scope developed by DARPA notifies a user if there is movement (person breathing, walking, etc) on the opposite side of the wall. Another device made by Israelis can actually create a 3D image of what's behind a wall by using radar in the ultrawide band.

Obviously these devices were created to aid law enforcement, military, fire fighting, and paramedic agencies. But, I feel that it will also be a privacy issue especially for those who live in apartments and condos with attached neighbors.

Anyone have ideas of where or how I can do my community service. I have to do 50 hours by January. It wouldn't be a problem excpet they restricted my licence for the same 6 months that I have to get this done. I'm not allowed to drive anywhere to do it. I've already talked to my PO, and lawyer but the judge will not appove it. So anyway I live out in the middle of nowhere about 10 miles from town. My dad works days and I work nights... He goes in to work at 6 am and doesnt get home until i've already left for work so he cannot give me a ride. I have no friends that can help me either. They are the ***holes that got me into this problem in the first place. The only thing I can think of is that there is a fire station like less than a mile from here -- but is there really anything that I can do to help them?? Any ideas would be really great.

Also I cannot afford taxi rides that far. And there is no public trasportation out here.

PLEASE HELP ME!!

You have to press "1" for service in English, just about all household products and groceries have bilingual packaging, billboards and entire businesses have signage totally in Spanish, and public libraries are being pressured to divert funds in order to have a separate Spanish- language inventory. Assimilation IS happening, and on a grand scale. American culture and values are being systematically assimilated as part of an organized silent invasion from south of the border.
