We drive around in cars the size of small homes and curse our leaders for rising gas costs. We shop at Wal-Mart and than complain about the economy. For weeks people were warned of a great hurricane hitting the southern coast, yet millions didn't prepare. For decades we've received endless warnings from scientists of impending global disaster but have made no changes. Is it time for the individual to take some responsibility for the current and future state of our country? Does the "Ask not what your country can do for you..." attitude exist anymore with the modern American?

Save this Marine
The U.S. Marine in Iraq who shot and killed an enemy combatant who was pretending to be dead but in reality was alive. If you have any feelings for this Marine who was doing his job.This is an American Hero.
He called out to his buddies that the person was faking, the person
apparently made a suspect move and the Marine shot him dead. There was another combatant in the room who identified himself as being wounded...The Marines did not shoot him. The ACLU are claiming the Marine is guilty of a war crime. This is ridiculous!

Bill O'Reilly of the Fox News Channel feels there is overwhelming support for this young Marine -

Let's prove him right- we can make a difference!
The servicemen fighting for our freedom and safety deserve our support.
If these communist ACLU don't approve of America and support our troops, why don't they just pick up their trash and leave?!

I'm not sure what I should do, because they really are pretty nice people. But- They have been here longer than they were supposed to be and their visas have expired, yet they don't seem to want to leave. They have loud parties on the weekends, friends and relatives over, and they talk in these loud and annoying accents. They do have good beer, which they are willing to share with me and my roommates, and they do take good care of their lawn and their home, but still... it doesn't seem right that they have stayed here longer than they should have. I think maybe I should make a phone call and send them back to canada where they belong.

So, should I rat them out, or not?

I mean, here we have 40,000 illegal Chinese people who were caught ... deportation was in the air ... what happens? China refuses to accept them back!! Great! So Michael Chertoff says ...well, we can't deport them to China... they won't take them back... so we'd better let them go ... politicians say, well, there's too much at stake with China ... trade and all that, we can't put any pressure on them ... and Homeland Security releases them again ... presumably to merrily roam around the countryside illegally ...all this on Lou Dobbs tonight, so I'm afraid I don't have a link ...

Question: We have the ludicrous Patriot act ... we have the inefficient Homeland Security ...we have millions of illegal immigrants that our administration doesn't seem to give two craps about ... we have the fifth columnists in the U.S bleating about poor illegals, but whose noises and actions help big business to create a permanent underclass .. does anybody have any solution to this godforsaken mess?

Hundred of civilians are dead. UN Peacekeepers and foreign nationals have been killed. 1 in 5 Lebanese are displaced. Israel's bombings on oil facilities have created the worst environmental disaster in the history of the Mediterranean. Are these actions really going to make Israel more secure? In the lebanese village MAROUN AL RAS where 32 israeli sodiers were killed and 48 injured here's the full story : MAROUN AL RAS is a village nearby the borders between israel and lebanon it was evacuated 18 days ago due to continous strikes against it now it's totally empty
4 days ago the GOLANI Division (the best trained most heavily equipped divison in the israeli army and considered the pride of the army) breached the lebanese borders toward MAROUN AL RAS the number of soldiers of GOLANI division were about 300 , hezbollah members sneaked into MAROUN AL RAS and started the fight against the "best division" in the israeli army to prevent them from occupying the village , hezbollah number were 45 members ...brutal fights occured between the both sides for more than 14 hours resulted in the withdrawal of the GOLANI division with 32 dead soldiers and 48 injured while 3 dead and 8 injured from hezbollah side ...hezbollah was equiped with AK 47's and some RPG's while GOLANI division were with mercava tanks backed by heavy artillary and continous f-16 strikes ..
eye witnesses and media noticed that all of the israeli injuries were in the back and they concluded and media showed this later (i guess western people didn't see it as their media is tottaly controled by israel but it was shown in foreign media) that it happened as hezbollah were shooting at the "best division" while they were running away and trying to escape the hell hezbollah poured at them ..well the survivors went home and the next day f16s came to a far away village from the borders striked and killed over 60 civilians most of them were kids and the place is where 3.5 million lebanese poeple know and are sure that there's no existance for hezbollah and that pretends that the airstrikes are to target hezbollah are complete lies and that's why the innocent civilans took that place as a shelter bcz there's no existance for hezbollah they thought it's safe for the kids but they were wrong it's never safe when israel can reach you bcz they are inhuman and they have no problem in killing kids which also explain the cowardness of the israeli army how dumb they are and how inhuman as they kill civilians and pretend they were human shields and they do this as payback for the humilation 45 members of a MILITIA did to 300 soldiers who are heavily equipped and considered the best of the best and the pride of an army ..WHAT A PRIDE !!!!!WHAT A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY!!!!!OH AND YES USA:IF U WANNA FIGHT TERRORISM THE BEST TO START WITH IS ISRAEL!!! Like the religion section, where somebody invariably states that Jesus is great, or some such thing, in the government category, every stinking question somebody answers:

"Because Bush is a great president."

I still just don't see it. What is making him great? What is the aura that surrounds his noble head? Is it because he cut your taxes a little, the corporate taxes a lot, and then ran a multi-trillion dollar deficit? I'm not gonna blame him for 9/11 (him and Clinton can share that), but what about Katrina? He saw that coming for days! Hey, Brownie, your doing a heck of a job!! Yeah, right. Come on people, that is called incompetence!

What about ratting out Valerie Plame? It is outrageous that the media (gasp) reports that Bush is running a secret surveillance program on American citizens, yet outing one of our own spies is acceptable?

And then people say, "oh, I feel sooo much safer with Bush as president!"

What a laugh! EVERY president protects the people.

Many on here claim that the pro illegals always pull out what they call the "race" card,yet all they ever mention is mexico and illegal mexicans.And when they talk about deporting illegals they are quick to shout "send them all back to mexico" how do they know they are all mexican and not from another latin american country.
