I am not quit sure however; you might start with 1967 and the United Nations. I'm sorry there is no possible way to directly answer your Q w/out alot detail. The Jews were given land from Palestine after the war and it has been a big FUddle since. Check your history book is my best response.

why do the British pay taxes to support American wars? same reason .. if we did not pay taxes then the President and the Prime Minister woukld have no friends at all.

Because most muslim nations hate is and Israel is out only foothold in the region. That and we put them there after world war 2, so it's kind of our problem really.

Well, the answer to your Q is that this is Ameican policy, maybe based on a lot of rich Jews that America has. But look at it from another point of view, the entire Arab world against Isreal, and yet they fear them!
I am not American, not Jewish, not Muslim, first and foremost I am human, as are you!

we could use allot of those money for right here in the states but since we aren't first on Bush's list israel and other people are first.

yes we pay our taxes with good faith to help our government for development of our country and to help the needy. Its a good thing to do. But our tax money is not used as required. so its our duty to ask and pressurise our government for it accountability.if not we should help change the administration.
