Hmmm, which would I rather have? Six-block long lines of people waiting for bread in the dead of winter or having the ability to choose my own bread in a market that provides numeous options? This is only an example, a segue into my short diatribe.
First, it is USA!
Second, communism has been revealed as an oppressive regime that only maintains equality on the poor in those nations. I don't remember ever hearing about Kim Jong IL or Fidel Castro having to suffer the same day-to-day situations that their "people" have to undergo. More communist leaders have lived in splendor while those that remained under the rule of communism or socialism dwelled in squalor.
Hugo Chavez is another current example of this establishment. He says he is routing money from oil profits to the hands of the people, yet their conditions have barely improved. He has also been aligning himself with specific political players in other Latin American nations to help them reach their respective presidencies (which has backfired a few times with other populations aware of Chavez's political paradigm).
Another note that you should take into account. If this were the USSR or just Russia herself, and you posted a contrary question stating down with them and long live USA, you would have been locked away for propagandist solicitation and would have been interrogated, looking into every aspect of your life. This is how they operated (far worse than anything you could bring up that has happened here -- hell, imagine the use of family members being tortured to get the message across about your apparent disrespect for your homeland).
Be thankful you live in a country that allows you the right to free speech.
Not with you at all.
