1 in 5 Lebanese are displaced, yes. Yes the amazing coast of lebanon is gone. These actions will not make Israelis more secure, they will bring the state of Israel down. Israel is making more and more enemies and more and more people are turning against america and israel as they wont cease-fire.
Did you know for every Israeli killed 15 Lebanese are killed?
"A million arab fingernails are not worth one Israeli" - Rabbi Yaacov (NY Times, 94)
Israel amply demonstrates that one million arabs are not worht one Israeli with there acts of terrorism towards the arabs. Israel is carrying out a systematic genocide killing arabs and justifying it by the kidnapping of two of there soldiers. Hundreds of children for two soldiers?
Yeah, right!
Israel has sent 8,000 troops into Lebanon. Israel troops will systematically go from one village to another performing ethnic cleansing, they will later setup a buffer zone by themselves of witht he help of "international" troops. Soon after this buffer zone is setup Israeli settlements will be popping up all over the buffer zone, and Israel will say the land is theres and it always has been theres.
If any other country in the world did this, America would have stepped in by now, its just that Israel is America's child and america will do anything to protect it.
What a hypocrisy?

Just to be clear here -- Israel did not attack Lebanon, nor are they terrorizing Lebanon. Israel has made it perfectly clear that they intend no harm toward the Lebanese gov't or people. They have no desier to claim any Lebanese land. Israel was attacked and two of their soldiers kidnapped on Israeli land by Hezbollah. Hezbollah is a terrorist group that the Lebanese gov't has not done anything to control their actions and allows them to live and organize in Lebanon. Until the Lebanese gov't get's tough on terrorists groups by sending troops into the areas that they occupy, then Israel has a right to defend itself.
Israel's actions are not an effort to make them more secure. They are defending themselves from terrorist groups backed by Iran that want to see "Israel wiped off the map."
Israel will always be endangered due to the differences of beliefs in the region. The conflict has been going on for thousands of years. It's not going to stop over night.

I suppose they should just respond to every Hezbollah rocket by saying "Thank you sir, may I have another". There comes a time when a country has to stand up and defend itself. I know it is hard for libs to understand, but appeasement does not work, just ask Nevill Chamberlain.

Boy it particularly is a robust historic previous rewrite. Israel has greater advantageous its borders only as a shielding action as quickly as they have been attacked. The Islamic international places have pledged to push Israel into the sea and kill each and all of the Jews. shall we see, what would desire to Israel do? Oh, i understand, only set down and enable the different mid-east international places kill them, that ought to remedy the subject of that Israel making life depressing for people who choose to kill them..

Where is your sympathy for the murdered Israelis that Hezballah's suicide bombers have killed ? I don't understand how your view can be so one-sided ! Has this just now caught your attention after all of these years ?? This action is IN RESPONSE TO AGGRESSION.

The way to rid yourself of nasty and dangerous terrorists is to kill them, not negotiate with them. They have proven time and again that they don't value negotiations, except as an interlude to re-supply their munitions and ranks ! What does it take to convince you ??
