I'm not sure what I should do, because they really are pretty nice people. But- They have been here longer than they were supposed to be and their visas have expired, yet they don't seem to want to leave. They have loud parties on the weekends, friends and relatives over, and they talk in these loud and annoying accents. They do have good beer, which they are willing to share with me and my roommates, and they do take good care of their lawn and their home, but still... it doesn't seem right that they have stayed here longer than they should have. I think maybe I should make a phone call and send them back to canada where they belong.

So, should I rat them out, or not?

I have read your posts before and I don't buy it. You sound like a liberal douche to me. I think you are trying to manipulate people on this forum. You wouldn't turn anyone in and you damn well know it.

What did they do to piss you off THAT much?

If you have to ask then maybe you should not report them. There should be no question in your mind about whether to or not. Or are you worried about a potential butt whipping you could get if they find out it was you. Just because you report them does not mean they will automatically get kicked out like the next day or even within a week. If they are smart you'll find out how amazing a good lawyer can be in handling immigration issues.

But if they seriously did a wrong to you, then you must avenge yourself. Go for it if they have wronged you. Let them be if they have not. It would be a sucky twist of fate if their replacements are worse than the neighbors you had before though.

I reported my old neighbors but only after they stole my cable, stole stuff from in front of my house, continued to play their music loud for SIX months, fired a gun out their door only 10 ft from where my son was sleeping in his room, told someone they were going to "get" me for calling the cops on them for their loud music and then tried to break in my house that night while I was alone with my son. F*ck those illegal pieces of sh!t.

But your neighbors seem to be OK for the most part so ask them to turn down their music and be a little more quiet please. INS didn't do sh!t to the people I called on so it's a waste of your time.

Shouldn't make any difference who they are, how they behave. They're illegal.

Of course, good luck getting the INS to get off their thumbs for anything less than 50 people..

And dude...good beer from Canada?? Come on, you know they're Irish and putting on an accent...

I wish there was some kind of way we can send YOU back to where you belong(i.e under a rock!), but I digress. That's some of your business! Are they hurting you in any kind of way(as long as you can get free beer, freeloader!)? Leave them alone, or they'll report you for being an asshole!

yes... the law is the law. who is to say that just because they are nice ppl, that they are paying taxes. have insurance on their car, and all the other things US citizens must do in order to follow laws... call INS, or even better, ask them all if they want to go out to eat, you driving of course, and when they say yes, pack them all in with the child locks on the car, and the window lock on so they cant roll down the window, and drive them all up to INS.... what a surprise

Boy, it sure is a dilemma selling out nice, hard working people.

Why should their immigration status be an issue? What if you report them and some slack jawed rednecks with crappy beer move in?

Won't you be sorry?

do a web search for the I.N.S also I.C.E., i think they are both on the homeland security site.....no matter that they seem 'nice' you just don't know and they are living tax free while the rest of us work...its not fair...report them if they were nice then they would do the right thing and come here legally.
