Have you heard about Asian countries or in particular South East Asian countries. In some countries here, there may be some minor internal problems and may be you will find problems with languages. Singapore is a nice place to live but it has become overcrowded. If you are looking for a green and a mild tropical place, it is beautiful Malaysia where everything is green. You can find friendly multi racial people living together. As there is freedom of worship, you can find churches, mosques, Chinese and Indian temples everywhere. There are cities in every of the many States where you can find shopping malls everywhere and you can do your shopping to your hearts content. There are a lot of places of interest to see as well enjoy. I would recommend Malaysia as a good choice to live in. Come once and I am sure you would like to come again or even make this as your second home.

The Caribbean: the islands are so beautiful: The Grenadines, Antigua, Barbuda, Dominica, St. Lucia, Grenada, Anguilla and then others like Barbados, Jamaica--they have such unique characteristics. However when you meet the people who live in Antigua, whether the rich and famous or the local folks, they have a wonderful concept of who family is: FAMILY IS YOUR NEIGHBOUR--regardless of where he or she came from initially. The children of the neighbours call the elders of their neighbours Uncle and Aunt and they are treated like family. Chinese are Aunt Silvia, Jews are Uncle Abraham, Arabs are Aunt Dalia--everyone refers to themselves as Black Caribbean nationals. They rotate whose house to eat by. Bequia is the same, but on a much smaller scale.
I am going to buy a big sailing yacht and do what a lot of former Wall Street and wealthy fashion designers do: live in Antigua and then sail to Barbuda one weekend, the Grenadines the next, sail to St. Martin on another weekend and spend three months in Europe and another 3 in the U.S.A.
I am really close to my dream.

New Zealand. It seems to be just about exactly what I want out of life: green and sparsely populated with English-speaking people who have a good attitude and are prosperous enough not to be a problem. I admit I know almost nothing about their politics, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing. That is, they have not made a reputation for troublesome politics.

Well if I can't live in my own country, then Canada because no one hates them and the USA is nearby to protect them if needed.

I'd choose Canada and I live in Canada.
I would love to visit many other places, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else :)
