This is a very tough question.
I believe that both sides are right and both sides are wrong. I'll explain:
- 2000 years ago the Jewish ppl had control of Jerusalem; some believe that gives them the right to own it no
- BUT then the Palestinians had control for many many years; some believe that gives them the land
- 1948 countries outside of either the Jewish ppl or the Palestinians stepped in and created Israel; thereby, giving it to Jewish ppl and settling the dispute
- Ever since that occurred, the Palestinians have felt as though the land was stolen from them... much like the Jewish ppl felt it was stolen from them before.
So you see, neither is right and neither is wrong.
-This also applies to the violence. Both sides have committed atrocities. Israel goes into Lebanon with aerial bombs kililng many civilians when they know Lebanon has no air force. That seems cowardly and unfair to me.
-But on the other side, you have the Palestinians and Hezbollah that constantly use suicide bombers to kill Israeli civilians.
Once again, neither is right and neither is wrong.

This could and should be a big discussion, But to have a discussion you must have FACTS to base on your opinions. Because of that, any person who watches news only from U.S. networks DON'T have facts, at least no real facts. The best in this regard would be the BBC network.
But I'm afraid many people doesn't want objectivity, they enjoy their hate and anger and any news report that back up their hate and gives it more reason is accepted as the TRUTH.
To the question: There are no good or bad guys. It's war. Everyone brings out their worst!!

1-Yes,Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers,but from illegally
Occupied land by Israel (Shebaa farms)
2-Yes,Hezbollah targets Israeli civilians,but he didn't do it before Israel bombs civilians in Lebanon,before that Hezbollah only targeted military locations.
3-If you took a look to Israeli campaign you will realize that Israel
even doesn't target Hezbollah only..It targets all Lebanese people
equally.It is destroying Lebanese civilian infra structure (bridges,
Beirut Airport,Baalbak hospital...etc.
4-most of Lebanese victims are women and Children has no relation with Hezbollah.
5-Yes,Israel accuses Hezbollah of using human rumors..But it gave no single evidence on this..Qana massacre is just a small example..there was no evidence that Hezbollah uses this location
there is no single military equipment found among the corpses.
6-But for America efforts,the UN stopped fighting But for America
stress on the security council,it could make a resolution criticizing Israel
7-America is talking about helping Lebanese government,how ever it is supplying Israel continuously with high explosive advanced
missiles to help Israel in its war against the whole Lebanon.
so who do you think the bad guy is??

In the context of the present war... u really have to be dumb not to realize that the Israel is evil. I don't love hizbullah but the cold, strategic genocide being carried out by Israel takes the cake by a very large measure. U have to be deeply jaundiced or stupid not to realize who is wrong in the larger framework of things. I am sure most Jews know it in their hearts but are more bothered about their interest rather than what is just.
You have to have sense of justice to take a just stand against your own interest.

Israel. This is because they had killed lots and lots of innocent Lebanese citizens. Unlike Hezbollah, they only killed a few Israelis citizens while most of the dead are the Israelis army. Why must Israel killed innocent people of Lebanon? It's like as if they had done bad things to Israel.

bad is defined differently by different people. the news makes it out to be hizboulah but then again the whole middle east believes it is isreal. it depends who you talk to or who you support. personally i think its stupid and dont care. theyre both bad to me killing each other

Israel of course. To kill and maim so many innocent civilians and children in retaliation for capture of two of their combatants is way out of reason. It appears that these 2 were agent provocateurs to enable Israel to take revenge of the Holocaust which they otherwise are unable to do.
