I read a few months back that Halliburton has been ripping off the government and overcharging the government for loads of stuff, and since Cheney and Bush and some other GOP slimebags are huge Halliburton shareholders, shouldn't they be charged with embezzlement since they are part owners of the company and have control over what the company does ?

I went to answer and ask a few of my own questions and the message came up that it was removed and gave a link for the rules and guidelines. My question is what was so bad about that question?? There was no cussing or insults that I could tell?? Maybe I'm biased?? Anyways where would the march be and what time?? Also would anyone know which metro line to take to get there (which color and stop??) And to make this legit do you think our politicians would sit up and take notice ??

Bush has dismantled the Constitution and is taking away peoples civil rights and freedoms, and isn't it the Supreme Court's job to make sure the Constitution is being protected and how come the Supreme Court won't stand up to BushCo and start protecting our freedoms and civil rights ???

I mean, no matter what political party your affiliated with-or even are, how many are sick and tired of people just blabbing on here like they know the REAL reason the Iraq war was started-being said that it's about oil, pride, etc.?

And would you stop talking about all "the racist people against immigrants".... when the whole argument is about illegals and NOT legals.

if you add up all the people Bush murdered in Afghanistan, Iraq, Guantanamo, and in New Orleans by not even giving them any food or water for days, has Bush murdered more people than any other American president in history ?

America v's Australia War?
If it ever happened which it more than likely will not, I think it would be harder than Iraq for the USA to invade.
Think it would be a good even fight to be honest, due to well trained aussie soldiers and to australia's large size. What do you think?

The fact that the illegal immigration advocates try to spin the argument to make it seem as if we need more Mexican immigrants is so transparent and insults the intelligence of anyone with a brain.

There are more than enough Mexicans already here to handle those jobs. Moreover, the fact that Mexicans have so many kids compared to blacks, whites, and Asians insures that their population will grow significantly over the upcoming years without any additional Mexicans entering the country. The claim that we need more Mexican immigrants to do these low level jobs is complete BS - we are far from a labor shortage as anyone who sees Mexicans selling oranges on the corner or standing around a Home Depot looking for odd jobs can attest.

We don't need more Mexicans, they just need us. The only thing that additional illegals will accomplish will be further driving down American wages and destroying the middle class.

(primarily our government) is solving many of the world's problems, while we still have so many here that remain unsolved? i.e. hurricane Katrina damage, homelessness, etc....

Let us assume that the American War on Terrorism is what they say it is and not lust for greater control of world resources and the gizmo show to keep their domestic audiences entertained... Lets assume it was to bring peace to the world...
But what you are achieving is alienation of half of the humanity and suspicions among the other quarter. You can't kill a billion Muslims if they don't agree with you. You can't even keep them under your thumb because nobody likes that.

The present strategy is increasing terrorists exponentially and generating hate against America at even faster rate... does that make the world better or worse?

It seems we only have a plan A which is counter productive. What is the way out? Is it not for those who claim to be civilized to answer this or are they as suicidal as Osama?

My husband and I thought it would be fun to cook dinner over a fire tomorrow night with our kids but we're not sure we're allowed to have a (controlled) fire in our back yard. Do we need to call the city and ask or should we just do it?

Please tell me: I'm Mexican, I got my Mexican passport a year ago, and all I had to do to have my passport was to pay at internet the passport fee, print the receipt and take all my documents (a photocopy of my last passport and an ID.) to the passport office next day mornig, I got my passport 2 hours later.

It is too difficult for a US citizen to get a passport? What do you have to do? Why it is so difficult that you don't want to get a passport to travel outside your country?

5 years ago the US was brutally attacked by religious fundamentalists, yet today we have borderline traitors like Sean Penn, Al Franken, Cindy sheehan and Michael Moore who do everything in their power to undermine the American war effort as the USA literally fights for its existence.
