it used to be considered a sign of wealth to be a little more... healthy. or even in countries that still arrange marriages.. a "healthier" woman is often more desirable. also, consider marilyn monroe.. while facts differ slightly, she was roughly a size 14.
throughout history the desirable size of women has been more or less consistent. we just get sucked in to reading too many cosmos and playboys... perfection al a airbrush.
besides.. i like being.. fluffy.
