and have rarely used the "race card" in support of my views...BUT....I am told time and time again "I DO".

Illegal immigration is SUCH an important issue I feel "violated" when anyone (either side) uses race as a factor.........so my question FINALLY.......do you think people who have valid concerns about illegal immigration use the race card? and if you answer YES......please explain how?

it's totally absurd and awkward to see many people dying just because the government don't make an agreement . Besides not only iraqui's are dying but innocents american soldiers.

Don't say 'it's never justified'...consider the following example: A botched surgery where only the doctors and nurses know precisely who made the mistake. No one wants to testify against a colleague. The court will punish them ALL unless one of them turns in the guilty party.

So is collective punishment justified only when we have a 'closed group' like this where everyone knows who the bad one is?

When it's an open group, like a country, is it justified if MOST people know who the bad people are... but do nothing to stop their behavior?

Is bad behavior measured by who is TARGETED by the other's attacks?
(I think this justifies Israel's holding Lebanon responsible for Hezbollah's attacks but does not justify Hezbollah's holding Israeli civilians responsible for Israel's govt's attacks.)

Is being too weak to stop bad behavior a legit excuse for Lebanon? Do they have a duty to try?

I mean seriously, people. That's not the kind of word you toss around. So you disagree with Bill O'Reilly, we get that. But calling him Hitler? Geez. If this country ever was overrun by something like the Third Reich, you'd have no vocabulary left to describe them.
How can we have intelligent debate if you answer everything with "nazi propaganda"?

This isn't about me, It's about my girlfriend. She used to live with her dad, he was a psycho, so long story short, she lives with her mom now, her mom went to court and her dad signed her over and everything. It's Legal. The problem is, her mom isn't that great either: she doesn't show much love toward her, and when Brooke (my girlfriend) feels sick, or is in pain she says "Oh there's always something wrong with you"
She centers all her attention around her boyfriend
She's in a lot of debt, neither her or my girlfriend have insurence.

Anyways, is it possible for my girlfriend to move in with her grandma, even if her mom is opposed? She would be better off there, because:
Her grandma shows more affection
Her grandma is more weathly
She would live closer to her old friends/relatives
Her grandma is willing to take her in.
My girlfriend lives in Indiana, and her grandma lives in Michigan (about an hour and a half drive apart)
Could this be done at 15? 16? 17?

I went to the races and the only ones that were allowed to race were the guys with race cars! Can you imagine how intolerant, and non-inclusive that was? Man how RACIST (get it they were racing) can you get!
I wanted to race, but NOOOOOO!

Anyway like it or not, everyone, the people of the United States of America did not choose the ethnic makeup of the law breakers. WE DID MAKE THE LAWS, THOUGH!
So, even if every criminal was of a certain ethnic group, it would not and could not be racist to want law breakers caught, because it does not say that BEING of that ethnicity is THE CRIME!!!

This is a big problem. Why is breastfeeding,something that gives life, looked at as tabboo and smoking(proven to hurt -even secon hand smoke) in public areas like restaurants considered ok. I have asthma and I have never had an attack brought on by a mother nursing, but I have had severe attacks after walking intoa restaurant full of smoke. Responses are greatly appreciated.

I was wondering how one DOES go about getting the "JOB" of selling fruit at stop lights? I lived in California and Arizona and NEVER saw a want add for that.

I can imagine it, though:

WANTED: persons to fill high risk, low-to-no existant paying 'job'.
