when you have no facts to support your opinion you must resort to making people feel bad. that's where the name calling comes in.

Let's wait and see what happens when and if a Democrat ever gets back in office. Then we'll see how wonderful things get, because as we know, they have all the answers.
Remember Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and Lyndon Johnson...wow wee!
Oh, I'd hardly consider Bill "Big Mouth" O'Reilly a leader in the Republican party. The only reason he's on TV is to pull in viewers and bolster ratings. Rush Limbaugh goes in that same catagory, the fat byastad!

That is to continue the miseducation of what Nazi really means.
Nazi is the short form for the National Socialist Party.
Guess what that means?
Liberals and Socialists are kissin' cousins politically speaking.
Guess what that means?
The current Liberals are actually selling and condoning National Socialism (after all that is what the redistribution of wealth using the Welfare State is all about).
So in reality, it is the Liberals who are becoming Nazis.
So the Liberals have to keep up the misdirection by mislabelling others as Nazis, when they are really the Nazis.

As far as Mr. O'Reilly goes, I should imagine he should go back to his career as a movie critic. His no-spin zone seems quite the spin.
As far as using the word NAZI to describe someone, that is probably not the greatest idea. Though I must admit un-American is not very nice other. As far as other derogatory terms we could use, idiot, moron, deeb, terd monger, douche, terd sandwich, and my favorite chicken head biting Siamese twin geeks.
So as you see we can be just a cruel as those on the right.

I am a very liberally-minded person and I can't remember the last time I called anyone a Nazi (I am also of German ancestry and hate it when others call me a Nazi simply because my family is German).

I've not heard that and really don't think that. I'm in between and don't believe that calling someone names is any way to have a healthy debate. I've heard liberals being called names, so may be its a way to get back at conservatives?

Well remember liberals are just that, free that everything should be limitless and no constraints, restrictions, or any form of bounds.
Anyone who puts a sneeze on something, is considered a NAZI. Its said, but very true.

Name calling is inappropriate on both sides. I have seen alot of name calling on the conservative side around here too, however. I think it is too hard for the sides to have intelligent debate in this forum.

There are "Nuts" on both sides of this coin.
Some Rs think that anyone who is for civil rights for anyone but themselves are communists.
Some Ds think that anyone who thinks abortion is wrong must want to keep women as slaves.
Yell at the nuts (both sides) once in a while, but don't become one of them.
