Yes, although more terrorist organization will pop up and I do not believe that Lebenon should be suffering from this. Also, destroying hezbollah is like punching syria and iran in the face since they provide this guerilla with weapons and this could indeed result in calamitous consequences for the US and Isreal. Then again, Syria and Iran are too busy rivaling eachother to try and attack the US, but we must not forget that the US and Iran are not too friendly right now since the US demands that Iran end its nuclear program. So, all in all, a good thing (destroying hezbolla) is happening at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Edit: Oh and BCONEHEAD, yes the US is not there, but they are backing up Isreal which, politically speaking ofcourse, is the same thing as being there.

These are scary times when a terrorist group can have a certain amount of control of governmental bodies such as Lebanon's or Hamas winning elections in the PLO. This is akin to the Nazi's taking control of the German government in the 1930's, and we know how that ended for the Jews! Israel is the only country that has a strong democratic government in the region, and it is the USA's policy to support Israel because of its democratic ideas and values and as such, it should not be given up so easily.

Hezbollah attacking Israel after it clearly withdraw from all its boundaries after invading ten years ago to discipline them... is a CLASSIC example of what happens when some Arabs get VERY bored and FEEL DOWN about not getting enough ATTENTION...

these Hezbollah people are immature adults as WHOLE... they brought havoc to their region on behalf of Syria whose DICTATOR is feeling the PRESSURE of having been clearly exposed as the jealous murderer of one the richest Arab businessmen and leader of Lebanon, Rafik Harrari.

Israel will not destroy Hezbollah since children when they wont something will have it, but they are clearly maintaining a balance of power... which will not lead to 'victory' or 'peace' ... our Arabic cousins simply need to learn that they lost us as their servants when we lived in their lands, now we have our own land and seriously intend to get a life for ourselves... in fact that's what we've been doing... whilst they overgraze their lands and desertise it even more.. we've been exporting hundreds of millions of tons of FISH to countries such as Japan and wot not... that's called Maturing...
