5 years ago the US was brutally attacked by religious fundamentalists, yet today we have borderline traitors like Sean Penn, Al Franken, Cindy sheehan and Michael Moore who do everything in their power to undermine the American war effort as the USA literally fights for its existence.

it's simple brad, they do not want the US to win. if we win, they see a victory for neonazi fascism. if we lose, it means they were right.
they think 9/11 happened because we deserved it. they think Katrina happened because we spawn global warming. they blame America first, for every bad thing that happens. they even blame America for the war in the middle east.

Borderline traitor is a very strong phrase. By using it in reference to Sean Penn, Al Franken, Cindy Sheehan and Michael Moore, you seem to be exemplifying a religious fundamentalist (also a very strong term). It is my right and duty as an American to defend the constitution, including freedom of speech. Even if I don't agree with what you say, I will fight for your right to say it.

Sorry. . . I just don't see it.

They all are exercising their right to freedom of speech. Just like you. You don't agree with them. Neither do I, but they have that right.

See, I AM supporting the troops, as are millions of others in this country. And I don't think they aren't supporting the troops - they are speaking out against the president. There is a difference. I am sure they know that the troops had no choice in going over to Iraq - they call that AWOL in the military.

If you agree with the war effort, fine. But if you disagree it doesn't mean you don't support the soldiers over there fighting. I think that is your way of making your argument FOR the war.

Freedom is what we are fighting for, baby, freedom. Not the US.

Let me give you an example: during WWII, while we were fighting the Nazis and the Japanese, we also were keeping black people from going to college and from using the same restroom as white people. We also were rounding up Japanese-American families and putting them in camps. People who said we should not be doing these evil things were accused of being traitors too. But in retrospect, those things were un-American, right?

Now Dems are traitors. Get a clue. We were attacked by BIN LADEN, NOT SADDAM. See if you can wrap your mind around this: Saddam and Osama NEVER LIKED EACH OTHER. Saddam is from Iraq and Osama is from Sauda Arabia. Neither country likes each other. They never worked together. No one had a problem with going after bin Laden. Dems have a problem going into Iraq for no reason (NO WMD'S). Think, for once, and stop listening to o'reilly, coulter, and limburger....

EDIT: In response to the e-mail you sent (as I don't have a problem being confronted with my ideas), bush was suppose to go after the people who attacked us, which was sponsored from Afghanistan. HE SHOULD OF ALLOWED THE UNITED NATIONS TO CHECK FOR WMD'S IN IRAQ. That is what he should have done....

Dissent is the lifeblood of democracy. For centuries governments have labled pacifists as being traitors. The message seems to be, "We're the ones protecting your freedom to disagree with us, which is why you shouldn't." Spot the flaw in the logic.

Because they live in a make believe world. They think that if you give peace a chance then evil people will just decide to stop killing you. They also think that the USA is always the bad guy.
