Please tell me: I'm Mexican, I got my Mexican passport a year ago, and all I had to do to have my passport was to pay at internet the passport fee, print the receipt and take all my documents (a photocopy of my last passport and an ID.) to the passport office next day mornig, I got my passport 2 hours later.
It is too difficult for a US citizen to get a passport? What do you have to do? Why it is so difficult that you don't want to get a passport to travel outside your country?

Now I see that it is easy, but I can't know why do many people asks "Do I need a passport to go to Mexico/Spain/China/Canada/Etc?" Well, if you are travelling outside your country and it is easy to get a passport, why don't get it and take it when travelling abroad, and stop asking if you need a passport? It is also easy, isn't it?
