legally they're allowed to but they shouldn't. they supposed to be an example for people.

Yes, Any and every police officer can curse, just like you can..its legal, free speech buddy..if u dont like it file a complaint with there department

They can be reprimanded for language that is deemed unprofessional. I don't know about every agency but things like this fall under what is called 'Unprofessional Conduct' or "Conduct Unbecoming of an Officer."

They can, but I think they would get in trouble from their boss.
Think about it - can you curse at someone that is a customer/client/associate of the place where you work? You can, but I think there would be repercussions.

they can do whatever they want they have red lights and sirens, they are above the law. it is just another way they act unprofessional. i say report them and if they cursed at you take it to internal affairs
