Bush first said $60 billion, that was a lie. Congress has already spent $ 357 billion in Iraq and Afghanistan. IN addition to the defense spending of $400 billion a year. Nobel Prize winner and economist, Joseph Stiglitz projects war cost at $1 to $2 trillion. We spent $800 billion in Viet-Nam. We had $1 trillion in VA benefits in addition for the Viet-Nam war. We as a nation learned nothing. It is fact that Guerrilla warfare can not be won. It is also fact that "democracy" is not a gift to be given by our 2587 dead service men. We have 15,000 wounded. The 300,000 dead civilians in Iraq are in fact "liberated" from Saddams rule. That number will go to 500,000 dead in the civil war in Iraq over 5 years.

Row v. Wade legalized the slaughtered of 50 MILLION babies so far in this country. None of which volunteered for it. Yet you don’t see the liberals marching in the streets for these children. No you see them marching in the streets for a group of people who not only willingly dedicated their lives to keeping us safe but also don’t want the libs marching for them. Who exactly are the libs marching for? Themselves? Must be.

Having served in the military, with 2 years fighting in iraq and going through some hardships. Coming back to the US and seeing how there are some ignorant people who attack the soldiers instead of the real issue at hand. Having said that, i thank all Veterans of this country past and present, special thanks to Vietnam Vets who seemed to go through a harder time dealing with selfish Americans. Thank You. Anyone with me?

Cuban liberals gave George Washington a huge loan of gold bullion with which to pay for a mercenary army to fight and win against General Gage and the British forces. When will the U.S. government repay the loan to Cuba?

The term "illegal" is all inclusive or dont you pro illegals get that, this is not just about Mexico, Mexico gets the brunt of the argument because that is where all the border jumping is done, its not like you can just run across the border from China and bam your in America! Therefore the most illegals are Mexican, it is an undeniable fact, get over it.

Why is it that in the defense of this country's immigration laws people will automatically assume I am a racist, white, or any other form of supremist hate group. I am tired of being politically correct and beating around the bush. If you are "ILLEGAL", get out!

I have a lot of respect for Isreal, but... Iran is in the perfect situation right now to become a nuclear power because Isreal and the United States are distracted with several wars of their own. Don't think for a second that Iran will back down. There are way too many countries supporting Hezbollah, Hamas, Al Quaida, etc; There's even evidence that Russia (A suppose US Comrade) fed information on US soldier positions to Saddam at the beginning of iraq's war.

That being said, I do think that Isreal can win againste Lebanon and the Palestinians, but if they thread on Syria or Iran, things will go sour.

United States can't afford to fight Isreal's war - Spreading a Military too thin is the biggest mistake the Germans made in WWII.

What if you lived in a place, say texas, and Mexico started firing rockets at you. The sent mexican "insurgents" into texas to plot ways of killing ur fellow texans. Mexican men hid bombs under their sombreros and walked into shopping malls and blew up ur friends. A fat mexican drove a truck load of bad burritos into ur favorite mexican restraunt poisoning hundreds of ur amigos. What if mexico refused to even say texas exists, and promises to kill all texans and make the land mexico? What would you do?

I served in Iraq for 2 years in a combat unit. I work and pay taxes. I am law abiding, i don't even have parking tickets or moving violations on my driving record. Though I am a legalized US citizen, but born in mexico, am I not considered a true citizen of the United States? I fly both flags for two different reasons, the Mexican flag as pride in my culture, and the United States flag as pride, loyalty and love for the United States, does this make me less of an "American"?
