The world powers have stood by while we have taken prisoners, shipped them off to undisclosed locations, refused red cross access to them, all this without any actual declaration of war. We would have tried them without telling them what the charges were or even have let them be present at their trial had it not been for our own supreme court and even now there are those trying to bypass a legitimate trial for these people. Why is it that when Saddam tried and convicted people without them having any say, it was a war crime but when we want to do the same its "more than those terrorists deserve". As why doesn't the world community do something about us?

For the same reasons America allowed Japan to bomb Pearl Harbor: money. The same reason Prescott Bush, grandfather of the retard in office now, sold munitions to the Nazis: money. The same reason Coca-Cola sold Fanta Orange to the Nazis: money. Atrocities are allowed to flourish in this world because people [mostly Americans] believe the FIRST thing they hear and see and read. They don't question ANYTHING until it's too late and then they're standing around looking stupid and asking 'how could this have happened?'

Because the US is tied up right now and it seems that the world waits for us to do something. Kind of like Darfur. Plus they are afraid of the Chinese.

As long as they're not hurting us why should we hurt them? US never shoots first- heck we waited for Saddam to with-hold oil and threaten our economy. We didnt go in even tho we KNEW that he was killing tons of people. We just used that as a scapegoat.
