Last election it seemed to me that there were no real issues addressed other than a blind hatred for President Bush. Well he can't run this time so what issues are the Democrats going to be addressing?

so many companies are getting rid of their pensions which they promised employees when they where first hired and leaving people's lives in ruin. I know people should start saving for retirement, instead of relying on companies to pay for their retirement, but companies should be forced to pay pensions that they promised when they began, and if that still can't happen the government should still give people money enough for subsistence. that is not counting social security, which will soon go broke.

Poor Bushy. Just can't get Syria and other countries to accept his intellectual well-thoughtout, well-articulated thoughts and ideas.
Then he has to whine about it to Tony Blair who surely must have the intellectual capacity to match Georgie's.

The U.S. Republican party is becoming more and more embarrassed by the fact the U.S. is the only civilized western country which does bot have universal health care for its citizens. Harper could help his neo-con friends in the U.S. by doing away with health care in Canada so the U.S. would not be alone in this equation.

I don't care for any that are Republican. They are too self centered and don't want to help anyone...but the rich.

This disgracefull situation will continue as long as the USA backs Israel. The key to the middle east is peace between Israel and Palastine, but this will not happen untill Bush accepts their elected goverment, who care if he does not like them "democracy is democracy" accept the voter's choice they are the countrys residents and have to live with their choice. They certainly dont need a country on the other side of the world dictating to them.

The lack of respect for there choice is what has put the Middle East on the verge of war

Hugo Chavez of Venezeula. He always complains about US and says how US is greedy or what not, complains constnatly about Bush, believes that americans tried assisinating him a few times, when Columbian pro-american (I know god forbid there neighbors like america) candidate was elected chavez lined troops up on the border threatening an attack, and he says and does all these things while his own people are living in poverty. Also he is friends with Fidel Castro and you know how well he treats everyone.
