The Netherlands cemented its reputation as Europe's most socially liberal country today when a new political party formed by paedophiles was told it could contest this year's general election.

Brotherly Love, Freedom and Diversity party (PNVD) wants to cut the age of consent from 16 to 12 and to legalise child pornography. "The freedom of expression, the freedom of assembly and the freedom of association should be seen as the foundations of the democratic rule of law and the PNVD is also entitled to these freedoms," the court in The Hague said in a statement.

'Well, Ted, my record of fighting for the rights of veterans, financial aid to education and helping the elderly is known amongst the voters.

And, as you know, I have been in the forefront in the issue of abortion and i have supported the troops in combat in the Middle East. Consider me old fashion, but, I believe in honesty and integrity and fighting for my constituents.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve the needs of the people".

Is there any truth to anything they say/promise or is it like what Al Pacino (playing Michael Corleone in Godfather II) said..."Senator, we're all part of the same hypocricy".

I am an ex-G.I., so, please don't be advising me to leave or try some other country/system. Especially when niether my U.S. Congressman or either of my two U.S. Senators from N.Y. ever served in the military.

Can we make our system work for us and not for those who are in public office seeking their own personal gain at the expense of the taxpaying public?

I think Pat Robertson should run for president in 2008 cause he would most likely win and he would fix the broken morals of this country. He would be great for america. Hed git rid of abortion, civil unions, womens voting rights all the things that we dont need. The most important thing hed do is make everyone stand for the pledge and hed start mandatory bible classes for everyone.

We are in the process of immigrating, and are using the services of a reputable immigration law firm for this. They are the type of company which charges people for doing the immigration paperwork for them. We have sent these people a first deposit, but then realized that the paperwork was so easy to do ourselves that we just did that and cancelled our agreement with the company. Now they insist we have to pay the entire sum they would have charged us for the paperwork, even though we, not they, did it, and even though we cancelled the contract. Is this legal? Can they legally do that, or are they having a laugh?

since it is already in such wide use, especially as a second language, doesn't it make sense to just go ahead and make english our common language. when we have a common language, we'll develop the bonds of a common culture that can lead to a real peace.

Some people are suggesting the U.N. should move Israel to a U.S. stage such as Wyoming or Arizona, and let them have the same amount of land there. That way they won't be surrounded by people who hate them, and peace could become a possibility

if bush could just do one thing right, all these places he goes, just make them learn english... so if they come here or go somewhere or we have to go there that we can get this language barrier over iwth once and for all for the good of humanity. once we have the same language all of us we'll have the same culture and there will be peace the end.

While working as a carpet cleaner as a kid, I was behind a shopping mall at night in the van. Cops tip-toed up to the van. I heard them coming, grabbed a large wrench (thinking they were bad guys) and almost jumped out to get the drop on them. I peeked first, and the gun was so close to my head, I didn't see it at first. Then I could see down the barrel.

The cop ordered me out of the van, and he was shaking like a leaf with his 9mm jittering in his hand. (This was REALLY disturbing.) He said low and shaky, "Don't F'n move..." I said high and squeaky, "I'm not." The other cop had a shotgun.

It was a bad situation. I could have been a statistic. They marched me into the store at gunpoint to verify my story, and the crew said, "This guy with us? Never seen him before...." Cops got tense again. Then the crew started laughin.

I didn't think it was funny. Cops left without an apology even.

Medicine Men, Shamans, creative geniuses and proponents of peace have all indulged in drug use as a viable avenue to enlightenment. What would be the result if Bush were to smoke the odd joint, or perhaps the UN or G8 share a bong over a political debate? Would our problems be solved?
