Some people are suggesting the U.N. should move Israel to a U.S. stage such as Wyoming or Arizona, and let them have the same amount of land there. That way they won't be surrounded by people who hate them, and peace could become a possibility

Don't forget there never was a nation called Palestine. It used to be part of Jordon

This is a simplistic and idealistic solution to the middle east.
The current war in Lebanon is a result of a radical minority who are sponsored by foreign interests possibly Iran and Syria.
Lebanon has little control over their invasion. This is a repeat from the Regan days. There is a great imbalance of military power between Israel and neighbors.
It's ridiculous to consider returning Israel to Islamic control. It's more ridiculous to think Israeli's will move from their ancestral land. Allowing another group based on ethnicity autonomy within the US borders is also absurd.
Actually, more Jews are living here in the US than in Israel.
Israeli Settlers 6.35 million 80 % Jews 5.0 million 34% of total world population
United States 5.9 million Jews 40% of total world population

It's an interesting proposal, but only if the Israelis want to leave, and the US is willing to donate the land. It's their country, the UN doesn't have the authority to tell them to go anywhere.

Also, it's questionable whether the US would allow them to remain a seperate nation in the new location, especially one that would probably want to keep a standing military. And what about the people who live in the space now? Would they need to move? If they did, do you think the refugees still wouldn't be surrounded by people who hate them?

The issue really isn't as simplistic as it looks at first glance... there's a lot of hate in the world, and shuffling people around is a short term solution at best.

Israel should be moved out of the middle east by the same powers as in the Sykes-Picot agreement of 1916. Of course the United Stated should take the lead and help Isael move to a safer location like Texas or Montana.

I am not for or against Israel being dismantled or moved but they should at least obey the mandates the UN set forth and but out 100% of palestinian life or try to help them out if they accept it...they should make palestine off limits like an indian reservation...and they should keep out of the affairs of other countries...they might not like them but they still abide by the you leave me alone I leave you alone policy...but then the extremists are the problem...I can't blame them cuz they've been driven to insanity by Israeli aggression that they don't see right and wrong anymore

Read the Bible, and some history books....
The "problem" Jewish people have goes back thousands of years and is - unfortunately again - rooted in religion.
What you suggest is the situation as it was before the 2nd world war, when Jews were scattered all over the world in various countries. And they were persecuted there just as well, (not only in Germany, although not quite so obviously). The only solution is that we finally realize that we are all the same, just some of our beliefs are different. And that's all.
But unfortunately, mankind hasn't quite reached that stage of maturity yet!

Israel turned a desert into an oasis. Why should they move? They have every right to be there. Moving Israel would only bolster terrorists.

We need to strengthen our attack against radical Islam. We need to lead with strength not weakness.

No, Israel has to be located where it is, they are very fussy about that. God gave that land to them.

Not sure that justifies their relentless land-grabbing, however.

I've been to Israel though and it is a dump. There are much nicer spots in the world!
