if bush could just do one thing right, all these places he goes, just make them learn english... so if they come here or go somewhere or we have to go there that we can get this language barrier over iwth once and for all for the good of humanity. once we have the same language all of us we'll have the same culture and there will be peace the end.

English is the business language around the world and also Every pilot and air traffic control personnel are English speakers too around the world.
BUT lets look at this part of your question: "once we have the same language all of us we'll have the same culture and there will be peace the end" Most of the worlds problems are not because of miss communication. it is because of religion. Peace is not a possibility ever! Everyone everywhere have opinions and most people will not ever change what think (their opinion) NO MATTER WHAT!!!

It is ignorant to suggest the entire world must learn the English language. How about we all settle on a language like aramaic? It is rarely used anymore. This way we can all learn a new language together and avoid upsetting the rest of the world who would certainly protest speaking the English language. By the way, Bush has yet to learn how to properly use the English language.

many countries right now are in the process of learning English, but no that does not mean English will become the first language. see language has to do with culture. for many language is like an art, and just as important a tradition as any other one in a culture

Ummm... there are so many things wrong with this question. First, other countries have their own national language, but often learn English to help with the American tourists. Do you see Americans doing this to help anyone else out? Second, every country has a unique culture that we should embrace. Suggesting that everyone in the world speak English is ignorant.

The world, No. America, Yes.

Most of the developed world already knows English. To compete in business English is pretty much a requirement. But to instill that by force would be counter productive, there would be a backlash.

I think that they need to know English here in America.....only because if we go to their country it is almost like a requirement for us to use their native language.

Wow you are ignorant. I don't think you are quite aware of how many differant cultures there are out there. Nobody else is shoving their language down your throat so don't do it to them.
