The second part of the question is: "What would happen if Middleeasterners promised to stop all hostilities against Israelis?"

Obviously they would live in peace and happiness for ever and ever . . but I seriously doubt the "middleeasterners" would agree to stop all hostilities, . . the arabs are hell bent on wiping Israel off the map, that seems pretty clear

I agree with thum2k, All this fighting is because Israel refuses to relinquish the land it's taken from the palestinians, unless it stops brutalizing the palestinian population and withraws from Gaza and the west bank , there shall always be resistance and malice pointed towards Israel .

Correction gina, This conflict has been going on for 57 years. I suggest you get off yahoo answers and try picking up a history book .

then there would finally be peace in the middle east.....actually there wouldnt, not as long as israel is occupying palestinian lands. Until they get out of Palestine, there will always be resistance from the Palestinians to get back their state, wether it be from Hamas, or other groups that emerge in the name of the Palestinian people.

It will never happen until God himself stops the conflict. This fight has been going on for thousands of years, and will go for even more years.
