Criminals will always find ways to commit there crimes. They are a very crafty bunch, among the most highly educated. They have already found ways to transfer funds via the Internet, and rob your debit and credit cards. So how would doing away with cash do any good, cash crimes are already way down and considered petty crimes.

if you want to reduce crime then introduce tougher sentences.the following crimes should be punishable by death.murder, pedophillia, drug dealing, terrorism, and rape.

crimes such as burglary should be punished by the removal of the hands.

this may seem harsh but i dont think many would steel a car or break into a house knowing if they got caught they would be saying bye bye to there hands.as for the death sentence think how much money we could save by executing all the murderers and rapists and child molestors.our jails would be a lot less crowded.

No. But if criminals were abolished crime would be less. People need to stop blaming society, or cash, or guns, or whatever, and just start getting rid of criminals. Objects don't commit crimes, people commit crimes. Either life in prison with no parole or death, either way, they are out of society forever.

not if the concept of ownership and money still exist. the only way is to change our concept entirely in that we only borrow things rathere than own them,
moving home would be easy, there would be no need for crime, people would only do jobs they like and are good at and parasitic jobs like banking , insurance and accountants would not exist.

a true utopia would be when no-one owned anything but could borrow anything they liked with no status symbols what need would there be to acquire more than you need!1

Yes, there would be a reduction in cash robberies, but it wouldn't be long before the evil swine thought of another way to rob innocent people, however, if they were all locked up for life, there would be a reduction in re-offending.

cos then we'd have to go back to the barter system and that's not very efficient causing numerous disputes.
