Iranian people seem pretty cool.
The Iranian Government will get them killed.

I do not think that Iran as a country is as big of a threat to us as North Korea. I do not know any Iranians but I have read and heard that they are generally nice people who have the same cares and concerns as most people trying to make a life and raise a family. I may be wrong as I stated I have never met an Iranian.

You have to know some history to form an opinion. My opinion is based of the following relatively recent history.
The U.S. amongst ,others, backed the Shah and his very repressive regime in the 70's. This repression was the cause of the rebellion when the Shah was kicked out ((1979).
The U.S. gave asylum to the Shah when he sought medical help, later. This help was available in other countries.
When the war between Iraq and Iran, the U.S. supplied their old buddy, Saddam Hussein, with weapons,aid and advice ( read that as mercenaries). This war went on for years with great loss of life on both sides and ended in a stalemate. As a matter of history, Saddam used poison gas on the Iranians, during this conflict, causing horrible deaths.
I think that the Iranians are wary. Wouldn't you be?

I think that the good people of Iran (who have historically been pro-USA) need to be freed from that crazy idiot that is currently in charge of their government.

I think they are a little nuts, but then so are we!!
We took out Iraq who had a pretty good handle on them until Bush came along!!
I swear to God, this is taken out of a book chapter by chapter!!

I agree with the first guy, but the people are too supportive of their government. Then again, maybe they have no choice in the matter.

iran is a country in the middle east. and it's main religion is islam. and they are developing nuclear technology. thats what i think
