By "a black" do you mean an african american person? Let me tell you why I think not. If an african american person became president, he/she would begin to do the real work of addressing the issues of the poor. He/she would actuall try to do something. this would piss off the real powers that be and he/she would be assasinated pretty quickly. Pretty much before any of that noble work was done. Besides, all the racists in the country would never let that happen. Sad, but I think quite true.

Your question is a good one I'll give you credit for that. But the answering part is hard because since we're a democracy anyone should have an equal chance as the next if the can sway the people's opinion all one person has to do is find the one thing the majority of Americans are interested in publicize that and hope those people vote it shouldn't matter the color of your skin but the truth is for some Americans, it does. It's a cold fact but true none the less. In this case I'd say since I'm a republican I'd vote for a black person a million times before I'd vote for Hilary Clinton or some other liberal radical. So sure i think there is a great chance a black person could be president.

History will see an Hispanic in the white house before a black person becomes president. It may sound tough but that is a fact. The Hispanics have grown to be a higher percentage than the blacks and do not fire up the southern voters as much. The influence of the Hispanics in California can be seen everywhere.

Of course there is a chance. The opportunity is open to all American citizens born in this country who are age 35 or over. Those are the three constitutional requirements. There are many black people who fit that description.
The question then is whether the American public would vote for a black candidate. Maybe not today--who knows?--but there is always the chance in the future.

A chance, but not as much as there used to be...
There is a greater chance of a woman or a Hispanic now because the population has changed and will continue to change in the future...
Hispanics will out number whites 2 to one and out number blacks 5 to one within the next 20 years.

yes, but it will be very difficult. The fundamentalists that are currently in control won't let it happen anytime soon.
Who will become the first minority president? In my opinion, it'll break down like this:
1. woman (white, possibly Hillery Clinton)
2. Latino (man)
3. Black (man, possibly Colin Powell)
4. woman (possibly black, but most likely Latina or multi-racial)
Of course, we still have years to go before any of this happens.

Firearm companies are counting on having a black president soon. Just think of the increase in sales of high powered rifles.

Directed Towards Person Above:
African American is a necessary title. To just say black would mean grouping West Indians, Africans, and African Americans into one category when we all have completely different cultures. Haitians are not Trinidadians are not Jamaicans are not Tunisians are not Nigerians are not African Americas, etc...
Be wise and knowledgeable before you choose to be ignorant.

Assuming that Barack wins the presidency, it could all remember on what his authentic underlying character is and no be counted if or no longer he has the backing of maximum human beings of the senate whilst determination making, as to how his presidency pans out. In turn, it additionally relies upon who's working Britain with the aid of the time this assumed eventuality occurs, no be counted if it is a house with a majority suitable wing rule then I dare say family could replace right into a touch frosty. no be counted if it is centre-left then US/uk family could be healed after the cracks that have been brought about by way of Tony Blairs insistance on following George Bush into hell fire. Make no mistake although, each present day-day U.S. President (who has lived long adequate into their presidency) has been to conflict, and that i see the subsequent one being no distinctive, it genuinely relies upon on who he chooses to circulate to conflict with and no be counted if or no longer Britain tow the line, as to how the dating develops. as a techniques because of the fact the British public, if Barack does a sturdy activity, then it could desire to ease fears concerning to the rustic having a non-white chief as human beings seem to rigidity non-white equals immigratiom flood gates being unfold out, the place as I see it as being the entire opposite because of the fact the chief could have all eyes on them, finding for racially biased strikes.
