You know the story, suicide bombers and rockets into Israel because Israel conquered the land in the Six-Day war. Israel retaliates by bombing it' surrounding neighbors and said the land is the Biblical homeland. And then more suicide bombing, more retaliation.

What is the most practical compromise that will end this cycle of violence and giver everyone involved hope for the future?

I know I am asking a simple answer to a complicated, complex question because the Middle East contain countries who have very mixed societies just like any other country in the world: modern, traditional, Christian, Atheist, Jewish, Muslim, etc.

Illegals are saying that the law is getting in their way and they want it stopped. I'm thinking, sure, that must mean that I can sue the government for ever being detained by the cops for not being able to work.

Do you think I have a chance of winning that? Or, is it just too bad that the law comes first before jobs? If jobs came before law and order, would their be things like health and safety issues? Legal ramifications - like hiring workers to depress wages?

I say the law comes before the job. They say jobs are above the law.

What happens in their view when someone gets hurt or sick or worse as a result of thier actions? Do they also say jobs are above the law and they are immune from prosecution and responsibility and liability?

Not on my watch. They are required to be responsible workers and people and the first step - IS TO OBEY THE LAW.

why does'nt Russia and China do something about North Korea? They would have the most influence I think.

I'm sure both countries realize we live in a global economy and rogue country like North Korea could destroy that and it will be bad news for all the so called major industrialized countries, including them.

It seems that all the current problems in the middle east are from Islamic radicals. Iran is funding the sects with arms and money. It appears that the issues will not be solved and a WWW3 is imminent.

I do not think cannabis should be decriminalised. I think it should attract harsher sentences. The reason is that research has shown some people are sensitive to it and it really changes their minds permanently and so it needs to be restricted. I know a lot of people will argue that it causes no psychological harm, but that is just plain factually incorrect. And I would ask you to think whether, knowing what we know now, would you have legalised tobacco if it was only discovered recently - same goes for alcolhol. My answer - no!

I swear, every time I turn on the radio I hear about how people don't like the path america is taking in the multiple wars it'll be fighting.

Now, I can understand why you may not like war. I don't like war. I earn less money, I have to hear about it night and day and it generally sucks.

But to sit back and say that war isn't warrented in certain situations is just plain stupid.

I'm sorry, but Iraq is a perfect example of this.

You have people who claim to be humanitarian (and are against the war entirely), but seem to forget that Hussein gassed innocent people, took people for torture and exectution for simply suspecting them of talking negatively about him.

People need to wake up. The war isn't about oil. It's not about WMD. It's not about powertripping.

The war is about getting these people out of the shitholes they've dug for themselves so they can live better lives. So they get a bit of education and realise that America isn't the cause of their problems.

We are running out of UK sourced gas to provide power, we've shut down most of our coal mines. Our nuclear power stations are coming to the end of their lives. We need new sources of power. Sure we need renewables - wind, wave, solar, bio-gas etc. But will that be enough? I agrtee with the leading environmentalist leader of the Gaia movement that we do need new nuclear power stations. It's just a pity it will be built by the French!!!!
