I swear, every time I turn on the radio I hear about how people don't like the path america is taking in the multiple wars it'll be fighting.

Now, I can understand why you may not like war. I don't like war. I earn less money, I have to hear about it night and day and it generally sucks.

But to sit back and say that war isn't warrented in certain situations is just plain stupid.

I'm sorry, but Iraq is a perfect example of this.

You have people who claim to be humanitarian (and are against the war entirely), but seem to forget that Hussein gassed innocent people, took people for torture and exectution for simply suspecting them of talking negatively about him.

People need to wake up. The war isn't about oil. It's not about WMD. It's not about powertripping.

The war is about getting these people out of the shitholes they've dug for themselves so they can live better lives. So they get a bit of education and realise that America isn't the cause of their problems.

The uninformed get their news from liberal media, or one side. The knowledgeable get their news from multiple sources, because they know from experience there are usually at least more than one opinion on issues.

Armchair critics are a dime a dozen even here on Yahoo Answers. Products of a democracy. We'll have to tolerate all kinds from both sides. Remember the Hanoi-Jane generation? That was the max, the "enemy within" kind of thing that influenced public opinion. This time round they're just "Baghdad bores". Stay healthy!!

Why do you feel that America should play a role in other peoples misery's. We have no business nation building when we have people in this country that are so in need of the basic things that humans need. I do not understand why you support expansionism by war. It is wrong and we should have never been there in the first place as we were brought into it on a lie by our highest official.

People only know what they see/read in the news. Most of the people I've talk with about what's going on have NEVER been to Afghanistan or Iraq (or any place outside of the US) so they have no basis for any argument other than what they've experienced on TV.

The world caters to stupid people. REAd the warning labeles on products. We help them to prosper and have children, and create more stupid people. Blame it on the bad direction of natural selection these days.
