He has been told two different things. One person said he would get it right after AIT, the other said he wouldnt get it until he gets to his next duty station. Who is right?

Contact a supervisor at DFAS. Get names when you call, just in case you get another conflicting story. If not, try your councilperson. Take care and the funds are coming to you quickly.

Don't worry so much about that right now, if i were you i'll worry about him going to iraq! And he probably is. Your making yourself look like you just care about the money. Which i hope not.
