It is the ancient Jewish homeland.
They are just reconquering territory that was forcibly taken from them by the Muslims.
Just look at Jerusalem:

BTW: The Palestine talked about is a fairly recent name and creation(1922). It was actually a British colony(first link)
The Jewish people have been fighting to keep their homeland since the year 66.
The name "Palaestina" was artificially created to replace the name "Judea"(home of the Jews) by the conquering Romans(Hadrian).

Unfortunately you are correct. Its like me saying, I am a Viking and a Celt, I live in the other side of the world, I am going to take all my people and invade Denmark and set up NewVikingland, but that's so patently dumb it makes Israel look stupid. Or I could say as an Aryan I have a right to take over the entire Punjab in India and Pakistan and kick out all the Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs. Its dumb eh? Just because my people lived somewhere 2000 years ago, doesn't give me the right to live there now. Life is tough. You just gotta get on with it. BTW anyone who commits violence is a coward. I should know, I've been cowardly a few times myself.
On the other hand. Israel does exist in the current environment. They are so heavily armed that any attempt to wipe them out will result in huge casualties in neighbouring territories. Best to stop attacking/defending against them as it only give more scope for their violence which begets more violence. Talking is better.
It would be nice if everything would be so simple. But ignorance abounds my friend, unfortunately.

Israel was not a country from the begining like Greek,SaudiArabia,Lebenan,Iran or England.Many years ago rich jews tried to make a land for themselves and the made Israel a country.
Of course the tribe of ancient israelian used to live in middle east but it was a tribe not a country!!!!

Israel is actually the ONLY country in the world..
Well according to the United nations... They created it. The only one they ever have to my knowledge.
Other than that, I hope they keep hunting the terrorists... Seems like the only country other than ours really serious about doing so.

isreal is not a country they r only a nation living everywhere
the country was made by england so they have alot of troble in the area coz they know it is ver rich area and if its ppl use that resourses will be the strongest
