Aren't we at war? why should we play nice with people who are shooting and killing not only us, but their own people as well? What should we do, serve them tea and cookies? we don't know what they really do when they capture one of our own. (other than beheading us and showing it on the web, but i guess thats not so bad huh?) ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR!!!

All these killings were not happening before, and that the execution claimed to be taken place under the directives of Saddam Hussein can be said to be only one percent of the execution taking place right now in Iraq. What are the real causes of the massacre?

Ok, I'm about to be a senior in high school and I know all about the military academies. I'd like to know what my chances are of getting a nomination from a senator or representative and making it in to ANY of the academies.

My GPA is 4.4 and I'm very active in my schools Junior ROTC where I've had leadership positions. I participate in the sports of football and wrestling and I was captain of the wrestling team this year. I've had summer jobs of lifeguarding and farming. I don't have any community service hours or any thing like that (any suggestions for things to go on my application would be helpful). I don't think theres too many people that would know the answer to this question but I'm dying to know. Thanks to any1 who can help.

Are you Pro-Life or Pro-Choice? Why or why not?
Personally, I'm Pro-Life. If you don't want the child you're pregnant with I think you should put him/her up for adoption.

Did FDR give a solid date by which we would be out of Germany? I hope not we are still there. President Bush gave an exit strategy. . .We train the Iraqi military, Police, and Civil Service, We help them set up their own government with elections and then when the new government is ready we leave. This will be a slow but steady process. It was the same with FDR. We defete Hitler, help the German people rebuild and protect them against Hitler loyalists until they can protec them selves.

Conservatives, including myself, continue to vote Republican, but are let down time after time with the conservatives in office going Left on all their campaign promises until election year, when they bring up a hot button issue to energize their base.

The reason I ask this is because I want to talk to the county judge since I received a ticket. He will not give me a minute, but in court. I have a very important college class and cannot miss it.

I think more than anything is because he had some problems with a long time friend of mine and he knows that I was friends with him.

Okay, it seems like the Yahoo Answers "Immigration" crowd is firmly divided into two camps. Are we really doing anything anymore (on either side) besides alternating between "preaching to the choir" and venting at people on the other side when they say something inflammatory?
It doesn't seem like one side listens to the other at all, so why are we bothering?
