you get a 15 minute every 2 hours and a 1 hour lunch depending on if you are working a 9 hour time frame, if it is just 8 hours start to finish, then you get a 30 minute lunch

1 15 min break in the morning and again 1/2 hr for lunch

Federal law says that you are entitled to a 1/2 hr break for lunch.

Contrary to popular belief, there is actually not a federal law regarding break times and meal times. Federal employment law covers things like when overtime must be paid and discrimination in the workplace. Break times and meal times have become more or less standard because of nationwide employers such as Wal-Mart.
