The U.S. Mint has reported that, for the first time in history, the cost of making pennies now eclipses the value of the coin (i.e., it now costs 1.2 cents to make a 1 cent coin). This is due to higher metal prices, specifically zinc.

So, do you consider the penny a "nuisance coin"? Would you rather get rid of it and round off prices to the nearest nickel? Oh, and by the way, the nickel now costs more to make than it is worth, as well. You can read more about all of this here: http://apnews.excite.com/article/20060702/D8IJV6UO0.html

Im in the Army and have always been slightly depressed but never been diagnosed because I keep it to myself. But when I am with my husband it is a different story. With him I am able to express how sad I always am but I also get mood swings when with him, and verbally and physically abusive with him. I've punched, hit, and thrown things at him several times.I pick a fight for anything. The thing is, I am ONLY this way with him. At work I am always quiet and I rarely talk- I keep feelings to myself. I have concentration problems and dificulty interacting with people though.I am also a slight hypochondriac (a little obsessed with diseases) and I take pills for any little sympthom, and my husband hates this. The Army doesnt know my problems are more serious and I dont want to get medically discharged because I only have a few months left to ETS. But my marriage is about to be destroyed because of all the abuse. How can I get counseling without getting discharged? I am currently in Iraq BTW.

I found some at this location: www.siteinstitute.org/websites.html A few weeks ago, I asked this question and got no answers, and now I have some sites that are in Arabic and English (you need to click on English or Arabic). I encourage an Arabic/Palestinian dialogue.

It is widely believed that the United States came to Kuwait's rescue from Iraqi invasion due to some innate political and selfish economic interests.
Why then have they(the U.S) not shown any remorse talkless of attempting to rescue, the Palestines from the gruesome attacks of Israel.
Why haven't they acted as mediators rather than by-standers in the massacre of innocent women and children from Israel and Palestine.

Economists seem to on about the importance of exporting our own manufactured goods, if possible using our own countries resources, rather than importing. I had always though that developing our own countries resource of intelligence through education is just as important economically. Am I just mad?.. because it never seems to be given the importance it deserves by politicians. Would it theoretically be possible to have a country with little other natural resources to export the educated intelligence?.. Like the Dutch engineers for example. p.s. I wish this was spell checked!

I am very concerned that the real outcome of the introduction of biometric ID cards would mean that we are all under suspicion all the time and I do not want that.
I do not agree with the idea that "If you've nothing to hide then you've nothing to worry about".
I fear it will be used as well to exploit us through advertising; used to track down people who have run away from families with good cause; that the information we give will be used for other purposes.
I do not think that it will be free from errors that could leave people's lives an absolute misery. I also don't think for one moment it will keep us safe, just increasingly distrustful of others. Criminals have compromised chip & pin: they are bound to get hold of the technology and use it to forge the ultimate in ID.
I really believe this is a massive con and waste of money, our money by the way, which will not have any results.

I just spent 2 months undercover researching SOS, Aztlan Rising, Minutemen, etc. I feel as if I must soak myself in gas and Flick-A-Bic to rid myself of the smell.

These are strange, extremist, racist groups. It's had a negative impact on me, but I know the truth about them from firsthand experience.

Is it true that after the Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombings, USA was so embarrased of its extreme military action, that USA told Japan that it will always guarantee Japans safety in case of any future wars between Japan and any other country? In other words, does Japan have a "lifetime insurance" from USA? If so, are there any websites that explain this? Thanks.

How do we not impede on civil rights of Americans? I am of Hispanic descent, and my family has been here more than 300 years. Also, with rampant document forging, how is verification actually accomplished within a reasonable time period?

Why do you live here?
Either support America or get the hell out.
We don't need you in our beloved nation.

So long as you do not violate anothers rights, liberties or happiness, do you not have the right, and responsibility, to live your life according to your own conscience, and not by anothers conscience or moral standards?
Do we not owe it to ourselves, and others to live our lives as we deem appropriate? So long as we do not judge others on their moral or religious or conscience beleifs, than we ourselves should be allowed the same respect.
