To a certain degree. But you have to ask yourself though; there is of course a motive to moving to another country i.e. living standards, employment etc. Thus with anyone I meet who has emigrated I am always intrigued, not just by their culture but by their purpose.

And what is 'Asian'. You're accused of being racist if you refer to an Arab or orient as an Asian. I'd class myself as Nordic/Germanic but it sure ain't racist to call me European! Hence my trust lingers.

I trust the one's i know well enough. Got some very close asian friends. At the same time i know a lot of asians that are horrible little gits, the same as i do white people. I think people in general are getting less trustworthy. No one seems to have principles any more, just bitter people looking out for themselves.

Why not? I live in Asia and there is more trust then anywhere in the world. I mean, it really depends. It is like asking "Do you trust Argentinians?" It should be a quesiton like "Do you trust the Asian guy Mr. Chang."

It is really racist. People don't trust Muslims but I went to Morroco and I had a great time and celebrated the most Holy of Muslim celebrations in their own houses with great hospitality. Yet, you can't ask if you trust Musims. Better ask if you trust Saddam Hussein. Then you'll get real and more answers.

Depends on the Asian. Sulu, absolutely. An Asian hooker, no. Not because she's Asian, but because she's a hooker.

Had an Asian doctor I trusted with my life. Had an Asian landlord I wouldn't trust YOUR dog to.

People are the same all over. Good and bad are out there. You can't bunch them all together. We're all unique.

I hate questions like this.
How can you ask if you trust a group of people?
Do you trust Europeans?
Do you trust americans?

Surely trust can only be something truly done between two individuals, it would just be a level of wariness against groups.

I have no problem with people but i only trust those i know and if that happens to be any individual colour, creed sex religion whatever then i trust them.

why as a nation do so many people distrust other races, or nations is an astounding fact.

I am an American but live and work in China and most of my life has been spent in Asia. I think that you will find more good people here than you could imagine. I live in an apartment building with only Chinese people here and I seldom lock my door becaause they will look after me. Too many incidents have occurred to relate them but most Asians are wonderful people. I have been to Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea and now in China. Of these countries there are a few that are a bit shady. I shan't name them. However my choice of friends would be Chinese over the others.

I have been ripped off by an indian asian friend - wouldnt trust him again. I know of other asian people and they are okay, so its who the person is, not what ethnicity they are. Having said that though' watch out for Nigerians!!!

Why not?

Why Asians in particular?

What kind of Asian - South Asians (Indian, Pakistani), East Asians (Japanese, Chinese), South-East Asians (Indonesian, Thai), Central Asians (Kazakhstani, Afghan)?

Why should you not trust a diverse race of people based on what continent they're from?

I trust Asians as a group but deal with people on an individual basis. Now the French.................that's another story.
