Why is it that so many people think that they need the federal government to protect us from everything? We need a minimum wage (because we are too stupid to demand a fair wage for a fair day's work) we need the government to tell us where to send our kids to school. We need the government to tell us what to eat. Is there anything that we are to be held responsible for?

Did George Bush have you blinded with all of his talk about stopping the terrorists, when he was planning to go into Iraq? In the name of catching the terrorists, he started war in a country that had nothing immediate to do with 9/11...what ever did happen to the quest for Ossama Bin Laden? I’ve been listening to people talk about why we should go to war with Korea and Iran and the one thing that keeps popping up is the ‘patriotic’ implication about going to war. If war is so patriotic than whose to say that when another country strikes us that it isn’t that other countries patriotism showing through? No! Of course it’s an act of terrorism, which is the same thing any other country would think if we were to strike against them.

I’ve spent many years fighting for this country because I thought it was the right thing to do at the time and that there would one day be a time to beat swords back into plowshares. I’ve been in Nicaragua, Iraq and Kuwait and I’ve known and served under some great military leaders in my time. But when you’re behind enemy lines, you don’t think about whether this skirmish or that bombing is patriotic, you hope that it accomplishes what it was meant to do and that’s kill people.

In mid-May of this year, a 17 year old boy was shot in the back by a police officer while in handcuffs, before the boy was shot, he escaped from a parked police car (still in handcuffs).

What are your thoughts about this case after visiting this site ?

Do you think the cops had a justifiable reason for shooting and killing Swauve? If so, on what grounds? If not, why?

I started seeing this guy who just got out of prison after being in there for 2 years (DUI, nonviolent). He is a realy sweet gentleman, says nice things, treats me to nights out, tells me how pretty I am. On top of that he is GORGEOUS and the sexx is AMAZING. However, he acts really strange sometimes, like the other night we were all out at a festival, I guess he got pretty drunk and instead of telling me, he left and called a cab home. he called me like 45 minutes later, apologizing cause he was so drunk. my friends think he may be on drugs, I dont think so. I think he just doesnt know his tolerance level cause he just got out like 3 weeks ago. We talked about it, and he said how he wants to have a relationship with me and get to know me. he is very easy to talk to, I have a great time with him, and he could be "the man of my dreams"/ I just dont know waht i want, and it scares me cause I dont want to be his first "lay" either. what do you people think?

Ok instead of spending millions on a wall or billion in aid to countries overseas why not take Mexico under our wing help them with some stability, help them {the Mexican government} creat jobs, they could do what FDR did during the Great Deppresion with the dams and the National Parks, its not a cure but it will help.
