Do you think that India needs a dictator like Hitler

Do you know what being under dictatorial rule will be? We are very fortunate to be born in a free country, albeit we have our own set of problems but how would you feel when four of you friends are hanging out & police suddenly picks you up on charge of conspiring against the state. Or if a rule is passed that all men of India have to sport handle bar mouthaches like Mangal Pandey & if more than two people are found togehter then a jail of six months?
Do you think a person with complete control of a vast country like India would not become greedy & power hungry & ultimately destroy our own economy? We have corrupt leaders & as if that is not enough you are asking for a dictator like hitler. We have one thing that we have taken for granted is our freedom to do anything wherever we wnt, whenever we want & however we want & that is priceless , my friend. If you are talks are in the wake of the Bombay blasts, then my friend, you don't need a dictator, what we need is better intelligence not Hitler.

Why would India need a Dictator and that too like Hitler? India is the World's largest democracy and a free country. Agreed that there is corruption..but that does not mean that Indians require a dictator. What is required in India is education. This in turn will increase the awareness about the rights of the people and that in turn would weed out corruption.

If you mean a charismatic personality that can galvanize the entire nation into a unified effort towards industrial modernization, then yes.
If you mean a charismatic personality that can galvanize the enitre nation into a unified effort towards the destruction of ethnic minorities and military excursions into neighboring nations, then no.
