Hey, China has been buying up our markers for the war debt. See our government pays all the contractors for the war with money borrowed from China and we , the American Taxpayers will pay them back for generations to come. Chinese make money , contractors make money..we get the debt.
China has us by the b*lls! Thanks to Bush, Cheney, Rove, Halliburton, Exxon..get it?

I used to think that most of what we got from China was just cheap clothing and Wallmart junk. However, I recently saw a breakdown of the trade imbalance, and it seems like clothes and toys make up only a small percentage. Electrical generating equipment and other big items dwarfed the amount of the cheap trinkets that typically come to mind when we think of "Made in China".

We dont owe China 3.7 Trill cause of the junk we buy at wallyworld, we owe 3.7 trill cause of our national debt, which is accumlated by Programs such as wellfare, and disablities. That is the cause of our 3.7trill to China, if some of these Poor, Lazy Bastards would get off there but and do something with themselves cept for leaching off the government, The whole country would be doing 20X's better.

The incompetent Bush administration has put American taxpayers TRILLIONS of dollars into debt thanks to an illegal war with Iraq and failed economic policies. China, being our biggest creditor, will eventually cut our line of credit. When they do, we will have no funds to sustain a military, and China will simply come over here and take whatever they want: assets, real estate, weapons of mass destruction, military hardware, oil, coal, ore, and any other natural resources.
While our politicians slumber, China is building itself into the next world superpower.
And, while we Americans worry about all that 'important stuff' like: maxxed-out credit cards; $3.00-a-gallon fuel for our $65,000 SUVs; Britney Spears' love life; Jacko's pedophilia;
professional landscaping four our $350,000 homes; "low prices - everyday" on WalMart junk we don't even need; and the latest rankings of our favorite football team, China is biding its time, just waiting for our economy to collapse.
Like lobsters comfortably languishing in a pot of lukewarm water, we Americans won't start screaming until the water hits a boiling point. Then, we'll scream in agony over our own apathy.

Blame it on the politicians. But, we also must blame it on ourselves for not holding politicians' feet to the fire and demanding that they serve "we the people..."
As long as we allow them to pander to the special interest groups, the rich, the lobbyists, and big business, they will continue to suck off the taxpayers' teat.
They will enrich themselves with lavish salaries, automatic cost-of-living pay increases (while refusing to increase the minimum wage for millions of hard-working citizens); outlandish health and medical benefits; all-expense-paid luxury vacations; and the most obscene retirement pension plan in the world!
Ben Franklin once said: "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote."
Thomas Jefferson once said: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." That time is way overdue. Our Constitution allows us to bear arms against a tyrannical and oppressive government. It's time for Americans to get off the couch, put down the remote, and DEMAND our country be returned to us.
If we wait 'til the water's boiling over, it will be too late.....
And do you really want to pass on a third-world country wherein there are only two classes: the very, very rich and (the rest of us) the very, very poor? How do you think your grandchildren and great-grandhchildren will feel about that?
The time is now.......before the Bush dynasty destroys what it took 230 years to build. -RKO- 07/11/06

How we do owe them anything? As you said, we already bought this 'junk' at Wal-Mart. What is this mythical $3.7 trillion "debt" you speak of? Sounds like a commercial exchange of goods and services to me.

Right now it appears that the Red Chinese are attempting to buy out-right fissile fuel supplies. I think that they will demand sources of energy so they can continue to build inexpensive consumer goods. I also feel that they will not listen to the US or any other nation to their problems with human rights.

Nothing... they will call our debt, Saudi Arabia will pay our bill and we will become the United States of Arabia.
Do you have your Bur-ca ready?
Hey Tricked.... We had a SURPLUS under Clinton and we could still afford to buy our old people food and medicine. It's not WELFARE that has caused this debt... it's BUSH and his unfunded WAR!

first of all, we are not paying for the stuff from Wal-Mart, we are paying back money borrowed to pay all of your politicians that keep voting their own pay raises, plus all of the other government functions. I say nuke em all, take their money and oil (from Iraq) and live happily ever after.
