What kind of an idiot are you? I mean seriously, come on. Grow up. Quit watching your little conservative news shows and radio that do nothing but bash "liberals" and think for yourself. I hate this stupid name calling stuff that people keep saying "oh, he's a liberal tree hugging hippie" or "he's a neo-conservative nazi". Or if you disagree with a conservative he'll be like "oh you're a liberal". Everyone has good and bad ideas on both sides of the floor, Conservative or Liberal. It shouldn't matter what party you belong to or how you view many issues. What should matter is how you view the issue at hand. Political parties are so stupid, voting along party lines is stupid. The only way to get real progress is to stop perpetuating these stupid partisan ideas. Learn to look beyond a person's party and look at the man and the man's plan (or woman).

Does anyone even know the meaning of Conservatism? It's highly argued that it doesn't even exist in the U.S. anymore because nobody argues for a strict interpretation of the U.S. Constitution; everybody desires change and the most politicians are these days is moderate. Those who dub Republicans (especially our President) conservatives are sadly mistaken. Increased governmental presence is, by all means, a change (making it a highly liberal political action).

No, modern liberalism is a lack of critical thinking. They have good intentions, like conservatives they want to see the poor, sick, elderly, etc. taken care of. Unfortunately, they continuously propose laws and policies that fail to help and usually end up hurting. Mostly I think the poor public education system is to blame. If people were properly educated they would not be in favor of programs like social security, welfare, medicare, etc. Not because the intentions of the programs are bad, but because the programs themselves hurt more people than they help, and enslave us all.

Kind of, but's more of a brainwashing. It starts in public schools, where the liberals are in charge. Little kids are indoctrinated into the belief that America caused all the worlds' problems and that rich people are trying to kill poor people, and that poor people are too stupid to help themselves and need lots of government assistance.

Then the indoctrination continues through college and then into adulthood through the MSM.

So, if you have a weak mind, you succumb at some point and become one of the simple one-thinks, the LemmingBorg.
