I refer to assassination as something happening outside of a war zone. Basically, what if America located OBL outside a warzone and had him assassinated? What if he was killed in a very brutal manner and we refused to condemn it? If he were begging for his life on video and was then executed?

Please keep the discussion civil and presume nothing about my political beliefs.

That 87 percent of republicans and conservatives support the iraq war, but only .002% have gone and fought. I thought you claimed you loved your country. Stop attacking the dems for "Not loving their country" If you support the war so much, why don't you go fight it?

why are a lot of the poor people in the cities and a lot of the criminals are black? I watch the local news and it always seems like that all the people shown in the poor, high crime areas are black. Also, when they show the criminals picture, most of them are black. Why?

For example....If you support the war then join the USA military. If you are against it then stay away from the service.

My brother was at a friends house drinking and he fell asleep. About 2 hours later, a police officer woke him up. He asked my brother if he had been drinking. My brother lied and told him "no". So the officer told my brother to get in his car and drive home. While he was driving home he went through some stop lights and the cop tried pulling him over. The cop said it was 10 miles before my brother would pull over, my brother said it was about 3 blocks because he couldn't find a place to pull over safely. Anyway, the police take him in and give him a breathalizer and blows over the states legal limit for an ADULT. The police officer takes my brother home and he is obviously inebriated. He couldn't even speak without spitting. He was charged with DUI, Reckless OP, Fleeing and Eluding and Speeding. His court date is on Friday.. What do you think will happen and do you think the fact that the cop told him to drive home will have any factor in it? This was confirmed by the cop.

it seems that almost every time a question is asked which is pro-palestinian. All the americans seem to say that ALL palestinians are terrorists who do NOT WANT PEACE.
They make no sense.

Scenario: You have a golden opportunity to speak your mind with "True" freedom of speech to the entire government (not being cutoff or told what you can or cannot say without interruption), What would you tell them about how they are doing their job or handling issues that affect the American public?

SAMPLE CLASSIFIED:
FOR SALE: 1968 JEEP, runs good, asking $1200.
Call John Q. 555-1234 after 5pm.

Since its not an article is it still protected under law?? What about using someones phone number online?? Thanks folks!

Just wanted to ask this question because it seems like todays wired and brainwashed society does not even care that our freedoms are being limited daily. Every one seems to concerned about that cool band, show, product, fashion, etc and does not pay attention to the important things in life. Is it not extremely pathetic that ALOT more people vote for the next "American Idol" than they vote for the next American president? (Or any other elected office)

Am I the only one that realizes that todays society is nothing more than a hollow, insane, meaningless society?

Wake up for one day you might find that none of it is real and the things you should have cherished have been taken away while you were asleep...

After reading this...feel free to read my great illustrations of Democratic behavior in my previous questions. Thank you for being honest and open-minded about silly democrat behavior and policy.

I was having lunch with a retired professor last week and the
conversation turned to the government's recent round of tax cuts.

"I'm opposed to those tax cuts," the retired college instructor
declared, "because they benefit the rich. The rich get much more
money back than ordinary taxpayers and that's not
fair."
"But the rich pay more in the first place," I argued, "so it stands to
reason that they'd get more money back."
I could tell that my friend was unimpressed by this meager argument.
Even college instructors are a prisoner of the myth that the "rich"
somehow get a free ride in America. Nothing could be further from the
truth.
Let's put tax cuts in terms everyone can understand. Suppose that
every day 10 men go to a restaurant for dinner.
