Some people say it is a "myth" because almost as many non-Jews were killed during NAZI occupation of most of Europe.

But most say it to piss off people. They are just trolls, best to be ignored, even though it is very hard.

Many individuals believe that Jews used the Holocaust as the main reason for establishing Israel in Palestine which is probably the case. However there has always been a desire by the Jews to return to the Holy Land ever since they were driven out by the Romans in the early 2nd century. Enemies of Israel want to play down or totally eliminate the Holocaust to deny Israel any sympathy from the West and to make Israel's military actions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip as illegitimate. If there was no Holocaust then Israel's existence is subject to question and elimination. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, is just the latest example of this trend.

Because there is no "real" evidence.

Like Dachau is a theme park? The ovens were there to bake bread? The people who were in teh camps and still bear their ID numbers in their flesh?

Six millions Jews just went into hiding in caves all over Europe? Gypsies, homosexuals, the physically and mentally deformed vanished as if in a David Copperfield tirck?

Eyewitness accounts stand for nothing. Mel Gibson says it's OK because his daddy says it didn't happen. Anne Frank is the biggest literary hoax of all time.

This is like a vampire. We kill it and kill it and kill it. Yet, some moron, some putz brain, some fascist bastard comes up and says that it is a hoax. And people BUY INTO THE LIE!

What is wrong with this world?

I know what you mean. I was at a bookstore buying a great book about it and minding my own business when a woman behind me felt the need to voice her opinion-she pointed at my book and said, 'It never happened.' That made me angry-I didn't ask for her unsolicited opinion and I wasn't bothering her-so I responded, "Oh were you there?" and she became more angry and made some derogatory comments. I then replied, "Well, I suppose you celebrate Christmas and believe in Santa Clause?" and the people in line with me started clapping. If anyone doesn't believe it, they should visit the Holocaust Museum in DC. There is no way a person can visit there and not be affected.

Some people will say anything. Some people think Hitler was a great man. Some people say it's a myth to say the Jews are liers. Some people are just dumb.
Holocaust was real and there are still people alive today that can testify to the fact. Someday they all will be dead and then we will ready starting hearing how it was a myth.

Because some people do not want to accept that the human animal can be devastatingly cruel. Also, it makes life simpler in controlling circles to desensitize the masses in order to make them accept other forms of cruelty. By the way, the Jews were not the only peoples eradicated during that period. Millions of other ethnics, professionals, artists, and dissidents lost their lives during only one of the most horrific periods of history. L

Five million Jews , Gypsies, Catholics,Commies, Cripples, and mental defectives has grown into 7 million Jews in my lifetime alone. Only Jews, and at least a million more of them, in my lifetime. Bullsh!t. Its a fairy tale for Jews to keep the corner on misery.

Stalin killed 10 million because he followed the ideas of a guy with a Jewish name. No comment on that, no monuments...

Because they are ignorant fools.
I think these people should all be taken to Aucshwitz to see the camps and the truth. But then some of them say that they built the camps to "convince people of their lies" or something to that effect.
After the war when people who lived near concentration camps said they never heard any gunfire or smelt/ saw any smoke, Eisenhower made these people visit the camps. Wise idea. And it must have been rather traumatic, as it was right after such camps had been liberated, and there were still very visible remains.

I don't know the answer to that one. The most moving thing I have done in years was to go to the holocaust museam in Washington.Did you realize it wasn't just Jewish people? It actually started before the war began. Hitler came up with his plain to have an Arian race of perfect people. He actually ordered people with things like epilepsy, mental disorders, and deceases like m.s. to be euthanized. He also sent to the camps people who were known homosexuals(which were castrated) or political prisoners.I just hope the world will never see anything like it again.

I challenge any-one to read The Scourge Of The Swast ika,by Lord Russell of Liverpool,it is by far the most horrific book I've ever read, then tell me it never happened. It has to be true, simply because no sane person could invent a story like that. When I read this book,I knew there could not be a god.

It's because people deny things they are afraid of. It's makes you wonder if people denied Jesus was alive so now beleiving in Jesus is just a religion. Maybe the same kinda thing will happen with the Holocaust more and more people will start denying it happened and some people will not beleive it happened anymore.
