Corporations control the laws, the drug companies dont want it, and the law makes money on arresting people and taking their things. Although it costs alot of taxpayers money to house all those inmates. The overcrowding of the jails is a big problem too.
It should be legal for adults, sold in liquor stores, and taken out of the hands of the dealer who does not ask for an ID. Also hemp would cost the corps money, the logging industry, I could go on and on.
Give the sick people their medicine, make paper with hemp, give the american farmer a cash crop. Tax it to fund education, police, and put away all child predators. Its all about politics and corporate control. Give the people their freedoms back, stop the insanity of overcrowded prisons with those who arent hurting anyone but had some weed on them.
Its better than alcohol or hard drugs, even tobacco, yet it's not in the category of beer and ciggarettes like it should be.

It's simple smoking weed is supposed to led to killing Iraqis. You have it backwards. Smoke first Kill second.
If you don't follow this order then the Presidents drug policy is not working properly.

That's a good question. Better yet, why are the natural drugs illegal yet synthetic drugs with horrible side effects are legal? Pot is natural, it grows from the earth, we've been smoking it for centuries. You know what isn't natural? A 80 year old with a hard on. That's not natural.

Not anyone is allowed to kill people, only military in times of war, but never civilians.
Smoking weed hasn't killed anyone, true, but it's terrible for your body and causes harmful side effects.

I have attended several funerals of people who had car accidents while high on pot - but you say it doesn't kill anyone - tell it to those families.
