This is the last thing on my mind but I cant help but think about it... My husband and I had a child with a ton of medical problems... He was in the hospital for 6.5 months and then was home for 5 month when he suddenly passed away.... We had nursing care for him almost around the clock through a nursing agency... We had some problems with some of the nurses.... I feel that it was their fault that he is not here any more... Is there something that I can do about this... He passed away in January but I am now thinking about what happened that day.... and thinking twice about the actual facts for that day.... Can anyone shed some light on this?

Some peole seem to win all the time when it comes to posting the "best answer." Why dont nobody like my Answers?

I consistently leave insightful, concise, thought-provking, and accurate answers to the questions posted on "Yahoo Answers", yet, I never seem to win. What gives? Why cant I ever win?

Well, I personally think it's cause Yahoo has a serious liberal bias, but still, I should win at least once.

Everyday we come across police and brueaucrats who seem to be:
1. Blindly following the law. Without either interpreting it in terms of context or the sprit behind it.
2. Using the law for personal gain.

Wasn't the basic idea of all rules and regulations to simply make human life easier?
Instead we increasingly have a situation where we have become slaves to laws.

Consider this very strange law:
1. Any woman can file a complaint against her in-laws and have the arrested on a non-bailable warrant (no investigation required!). This is a law in India (and frequently used!).

Consider this very strange directive from a court:
1. Unless under extreme circumstances, a woman's complaint about rape must be treated correct.(What! Are we saying - no real investigation necessary !!!).

These are all attempts to hide a poor, inefficient and corrupt police system, by creating strange laws and directives !!

Have we lost the soul or the real reason behind creating any laws !!

I mean in terms of celebrities getting off for crimes that a person who is not rich would get a longer jail sentence for. Or even getting house arrest. When was the last time you heard of someone getting house arrest that wasn't a celebrity? I guess money does make the man or for that matter the woman.

Was 9/11 justified, I never thought so, however listening to fellow americans views on race, politics, war, I can now understand the attitude of the terrorists. (I do not agree with terrorism though)

Or in fact anyone who doesn't agree with them? I was under the assumption that diversity of opinion is what America is all about. Does everyone need to agree with you? And please I ask you again--- answer this with a thoughtful answer--no bashing. It's really getting old.

Ok, I asked this question before, but did not get much of a response. So I am rephrasing it:
My hubby got pulled over without a license. The cops searched the car and found 2 marajuania roaches, a bowl, and a knife.
He went to court and they are charging him with:
Carrying a concealed weapon
Paraphenilia
Drug abuse

He plead not guilty. My question is:
Will he go to jail??? This was his first offense. Serious answers only please.

Why did 9/11 get such a strong response from the American Goverment as to launch a "War on Terrorism" when other Terrorist Attacks against Americans (such as the Lockerbie bombing, the embassies in Africa, the 1995 World Trade Centre bombing) did not?
