Was 9/11 justified, I never thought so, however listening to fellow americans views on race, politics, war, I can now understand the attitude of the terrorists. (I do not agree with terrorism though)

Yes, you American people are so arrogant, I feel sorry for the families of the event, but the USA do it to innocent people on a daily basis, and make claims like "it was a neccessary for the war on terror", USA need to stop their interfering and try diplomacy then their asses may not get blown up.

Hiroshima was a military base, the civil defense in the city was readying for the coming American invasion of mainland Japan. Every man, woman, and child was included in the civil defense. Therefore it was a legitimate military target.

The world trade center was attacked by terrorists using civilian airliners as weapons of mass destruction, killing thousands of innocent people. The goal of attacking Hiroshima was to save lives and end the war. What was the goal of the 9/11 attack - to kill innocent people and destroy the American economy. If you can't see the difference between the two, you've got serious issues.

The premise of your question assumes that the official story is true (19 arab men with box cutters hijacked 4 planes and flew 3 of 4 in to there intended targets fooling the greatest air defense system in the world.)

There is an abundance of evidence that suggest our own govt. was complicit in the attacks. The reality is that the official story does not add up and there remains hundreds of unanswered questions re: 9/11. 9/11 has been the pretext for our illegal wars, torture, wire tapping, Patriot Act and just about anything the Bush regime want to do. They are controlling us through fear and propoganda (CNN and FOX News in particular).

It's horrendous to think that 9/11 could have been an inside job, but if you do the research and learn about the events of that day and the PNAC you'll understand. That's not to say the Al-Qeada was not involved or does not pose a threat today.

No wonder most of the world hates America. Bush's foriegn policy is to bully other nations and threaten them instead of diplomacy and statesmanship.

There is no moral justification for 9/11. People might give religious justification, depending on their religion, but there's no justification in purposefully murdering innocent people.

Where the WWII bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki are concerned, I do not believe those were justified, either. I hope history has shown that such horror and devastation, and the loss of so many innocent lives, is never justified.

9/11 was never justified. How does it feel to watch innocent civilians die? You could see innocent civilians jump out the windows to their death. hundreds of workers trapped in the upper floors, unable to escape the smoke filled air, citizens looking at the blazing tower in horror, unable to comprehend what had happened, and so many other events that happened in those moments of chaos. Imagine how that would've been if you were on of those trapped civilians, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, fathers, mothers, friends, husbands, wives, ordinary human beings who were doomed to die, their last phone calls being the last time anyone would hear of them again. Imagine if that happened to wherever you are. Children will never be able to see parents again, friends unable to see friends, just imagine that. How can you say that you can understand how terrorists feel? What have we ever done to them that made them do this to us? We've never flown a plane to their building, kill innocent civilians based on a perverted ideology, blow up buildings, cause mass murders in a day, we've never done anything to them. How can this be justified?

I can see were you get your theory from, once you leave this country you can see how americans look down on anyone else , ye somehow are not smart enough to protect themselfs. If you ask anyone in Europe they will tell you that americans are crazier than terrorist. Americans are crazy religious Idealist and extremeist who use the screen of religion fundamentalist to justify their actions inside the country and out side of it. I also do not support terrorism but how could they not hate us.

No, it was not justified. It was an act of criminal insanity. What pushed them to it? Religion. Their main beef was the US having a military base in Saudi Arabia, which is like the holiest of holies of their religion. They saw it as an affront to Allah. A rational way of dealing with the problem would have been to just ask the US to remove the base, or negotiate on it. As it happens, that particular base was closed after 9-11, so they got what they wanted. I guess for perspective, think about how we might feel if some foreign country with a culture we thought weird established a military base, say, at Arlington Cemetary...But regardless, the attacks were totally unjustified, evil, morally wrong.

I don't understand how any could think that it was justified to fly planes into buildings filled with hundreds of people and kills them.

Can someone explain that to me?

Sure the USA does not treat other countries with respect, but that is not the fault of the citizens. (At least not the ones who elected this moron as president.) If they want to hurt the US, let them take it up with the government.
