Iraq DID have WMD's. They WERE found, just not advertised all over the news like it was before they were definitively found. And attacking Korea, which is under the protection of China, would be a bad idea on several fronts. Mostly, because we're trying to make nice with China, and stepping on their toes isn't doing that.

North Korea was behaving itself back then. Kim Jong Il was still psycho, but he was keeping it within his borders. Iraq needed to be invaded because there were WMD's and the UN did find them, and also because Saddam Hussein wasn't keeping his psychotic-ness to himself. I'm tired of everyone complaining about us invading Iraq and complaining about us still being there. We're not trying to colonize the place. We're still there because they've asked us to stay and help them to form their fledgling democracy. We're providing security and training for them. People there are voting for the first time in ages, maybe forever. They are thankful that we're there and for what we've done. Maybe this country does need to be taken over by some sadistic dictator and people's freedom and rights taken away, and MAYBE then, the people here in this country who are complaining about all the "warmongers" and "babykillers" will finally get a clue about what our brave military men and women have liberated the Iraqi people from. I don't see any of them joining the military and fighting for their country. It's easy to sit over here and complain from your house, but until you've been over there and seen what our soldiers and sailors have to see every day, stop running your mouth. North Korea hasn't been invaded yet because they're allied with China, and Russia. If we attack them, then we'll make China and Russia mad, and they're our allies too. But, if North Korea fires more missiles, and it appears that any of those missiles are headed our way, you can guarantee that Dubya will aim a nice big bomb right up Kim Jong Il's butt.

I think we made a mistake by going into Iraq, yes. But the larger picture is that we're there, and can't just withdraw immediately and get out. I honestly believe our government just wanted to finish the job the Gulf War started in Iraq. Again, we are there, and we're stuck now. Hopefully, we won't have to deal with North Korea militarily. We've (the U.S.) has done enough in this world!
