This is the last thing on my mind but I cant help but think about it... My husband and I had a child with a ton of medical problems... He was in the hospital for 6.5 months and then was home for 5 month when he suddenly passed away.... We had nursing care for him almost around the clock through a nursing agency... We had some problems with some of the nurses.... I feel that it was their fault that he is not here any more... Is there something that I can do about this... He passed away in January but I am now thinking about what happened that day.... and thinking twice about the actual facts for that day.... Can anyone shed some light on this?

I have been through counsiling for the loss, and I do have documentation for things that went wrong while he was home with the nurses.

His condition was not terminal... There are not many cases with the problems that he had but after research only about 1% of children with this die and that is when they get older not less than a year... In our area he is the 1st to pass away due to his problems... at such a young age

Allow me to express my sincerest condolences on the loss of your child. I can only imagine the torment you feel.

Contacting a lawyer is the best option at this point. Before you take that step, do some soul-searching to make sure you want to go through with it. A good lawyer will help you with some of that soul searching by explaining the difficulties of such a case. The most difficult of which includes you and your husband reliving that fateful day. Then the defense may provide expert testimony that the illness was terminal regardless of the care provided. [Playing a little devil's advocate here...]

Again, please accept my condolences for your loss.

I think you are a grieving parent that is looking for a answer. If you have credible evidence then see a lawyer. If not, then I would seek counseling to help you through the grieving process. Sometimes you need an outside viewpoint and support.

if you feel like there was some malpractice or negligence, you should consult an attorney. First make sure there actually was something wrong.

you should talk to a lawyer about this. many lawyers will not charge you for an initial consultation about a wrongful death lawsuit.
