Easy. We have believed in Minority Rule on this earth for thousands of years.
Who are you to want it gone?
Minority rule is the polar opposite of communism or democracy. Neither of which has ever existed in the form of a government. Sorry to disappoint all you right and left wingers.

America today at its best is Republic and some might add that after the first ruling of the supreme court we immediately became an Oligarchy, or Evil Aristocracy. Two parties at our helms privately guiding the funds of the federal government for their private use.

The founding fathers believed in Minority Rule, but not in political parties.

So Patriot and Comrade, wave your red, white, and blue, with you hammer and sickle in scarlet. Let me be the first to welcome you to party! Which Minority are you?

Its called liberal thinking. Liberals will misuse the filibuster, and subvert the law for just about anything: Texas dems who fled the legislature and had to be hunted down by police, all the mayors who allowed homosexual couples to marry, and the list goes on.
