My parents told me I will inherit the land I currently live on. I have lived here for the past 4 and a half years. Before I moved in I was told I had a lifetime lease. When I remarried, my wife was told the same. I have invested over 20,000. dollars in our home. My mother has been threatening to evict us. Can she do this? What can I do to protect my investment?

California entered the union as a free state, unlike Georgia. So should Californians be exempted? What about Californians whose ancestors came from Georgia?

There used to be communities of Quakers in North Carolina who were in conflict with their slave owning neighbors. Eventually many of these Quakers left North Carolina for free areas like Indiana. Should people descended from Quakers and other abolitionists be exempt?

Not all "African Americans" are descended from US held slaves. Some are immigrants from other slave holding societies, such as Haiti, and others emigrated to the US from Africa after the abolition of slavery.

Not all slave owners were "white". There were some "black" slave owners. Should descendents of black slave owners have to pay reparations?

Many "black" Americans are descended from "white" ancestors as well as "black" ones. Some "whites" may have some "black" ancestry. Will this have an effect on the value of reparations owed?

Let's say some commission decides that $20,000 per person is just compensation for slavery. What happens when ten or twenty years down the road we see that handing out lump sums of cash didn't change the basic relationships between "black" Americans and "white" Americans? Do more reparations have to be paid or will it be considered settled once and for all?

Are people descended from "whites" too poor to have owned slaves considered guilty merely because of their skin tone, or are they considered victims because they had to compete economically against wealthier "whites" who owned many slaves?

injured the police officer,as she was trying to STOP the COUNTER protesters??? The Minutemen and some other groups, many carrying American flags, had a permit, which allowed them to have a peaceful ANTI-immigration march. But,the IDIOT illegals supporters, were HIDING their COWARDLY faces behind bandanas, and started calling them "racists" (of course!!) Then a melee ensued, and several were arrested!!!!

Almost every question that the Libs put out there are stupid and lack any thought the best they can come up with is "Why is Bush so stupid?" "If Bush was a disease what would it be" What a bunch of useless whiners. Fase facts Libs you have nothing to offer but hand wringing and whinning when it comes to offering a better way you have nothing.

The most stupid thing a person can do is join the military and learn to shoot a gun or drive a tank through a city so one can get into a position to shoot at a building and kill everyone in it. Then when you get out four years later and go to look for a job you discover you have no skills. All you can do is "Kill" people. Who'd want to hire you? The Post Office? The only thing you can be good at is being a serial killer. I say to all you young smart people. COLLEGE!!! Go To COLLEGE!!! Be someone who can give something good to his community. The military is for foolish people who doesn't want a good life after they get out of the military. this is very simple. Go to College.....Live in a nice home with respect. Go into the Military.....Live in a homeless shelter with the druggies and drunks. It's up to you.

And later it is found that the Iraq War was in fact not only unneccessary but also immoral, does that mean that people will reverse their opinions about our European Ally.

for you to admit it was a serious mistake to base this serious issue on "penumbras" and "eminations"?

Please don't give me the "is a woman's choice" partyline, think for yourselves on this one. We are aborting 1.8 million babies, compared to 4.2 million live births.

Our own laws decided that illegals in our country were not immigrants, and declared them illegal aliens. Immigrants are hard working, good ppl, that should not be associated to those who think breaking the law is good. Immigrants abide by the law, and illegal aliens believe that they should not have to be bound by law. I have family waiting to migrate here legally from Mexico, and because of the swarm of illegals that disregard our laws immigrants are being given a bad name. If an illegal is willing to risk life and limb to get across our border, then why not just do it the right way. If an estimated 20 million illegals are given amnesty after recieving amnesty twice before, and wiith our president breaking our laws, Americans might just decide that the laws should no longer apply to them as well. Then where will that leave America?

This morning I was at the Big Boy Restaurant for breakfast and a 2005 Pontiac pulls in with "Two" I support the troops on the vehicle. ( Note: My Radar Picked him fast) I, wearing an American Legion hat, walked up to him and said "Thanks for supporting the Iraq war and President Bush". He beamed a big smile and his chest puffed out being real proud. I said in a serious tone "We need your two sons to join the Army "OR" Marines to pick up a gun and shoot some Iraqi people and make President Bush proud". ( Note: His two sons were with their father ) The father said in horror!!! " I....Gulp!! I...Cough..Cough....I...True! I am a President Bush supporter but!!...But!!.....Gulp!!!.....I only support Bush if other father's sons go to Iraq. I am a true Republican and I support the war as long as my sons don't have to go. My sons are too smart to go and die in Iraq. They are in College". Gulp!!! Yes!! I want the war as long as my children don't die. Then he walked away if he had crap in mouth.

Say It Ain’t So, Mike
The Pence immigration plan has let conservatives down.

By Congressman Steve King

Shoeless Joe Jackson was a phenomenal baseball player caught up in the Black Sox Scandal in which some team members conspired to throw the 1919 World Series. A young fan watched his hero Shoeless Joe leave the courthouse and gave us the immortal line “Say it ain’t so, Joe.” I had much the same feeling when conservative and principled Congressman Mike Pence emerged from the Heritage Foundation after his speech outlining his “rational middle ground” immigration proposal. “Say it ain’t so, Mike.” Say it ain’t so that you have played into the hands of the Bush-Kennedy-McCain amnesty coalition.

The Taiwanese have apparently had nuclear capability for some years, lacking only the actual implementation of a nuclear defense, including warhead assembly. This shift to a nuclear deterrent would seem to require about six to ten months for Taiwan, very similar to Japanese capabilities.

i was reading a question on this and if you people think that the immigrants are not collectios ss you may be surprised. Some of the Asian people in the US are in fact collection SS. when they came to America they got a $10,000 grant to get started, put on SS, and collect welfare.

maybe you need to check out your info before just let stupidity fall out of your mouth.
