And if so, do they think that 9/11 was a good thing because it killed liberals?

I never heard of these women until I turned on FoxNews, so I don't think it is the liberal media who is glorifiying them. And so far, besides name calling and sh*t slinging, I haven't gotten a straight forward answer, but I guess in a way, you are answering my question. By the way, I will take FoxNews quotes as real quotes from Ann's book. I don't need to read it. And, for once, FoxNews is standind up and speaking out against the fraud that Ann is. Everyone else who thinks that my question should have been a different question, should use their own points to ask their own questions.

so Ann should use these women for her own political gain, but it's wrong for these women to speak out of their OWN experience against the war? Interesting...

I hated Ann Coulter for a while. And then there was a short time when I thought she was insane. Because she was saying and writing things that were incomprehensibly vicious.
Then I realized what she was doing.
She says and writes things to get noticed, to get her next article, to get her next book approved.
That's all she does. And when you realize that, it's tough to hate her.
Because there's nothing there.
She's inconsequential, meaningless and politically unimportant.

There are a lot of really wrong assumptions in your questions. First, just because someone self-identifies as a conservative does not mean that they automatically agree with anything and everything that another conservative says. So it is with many conservatives and Ann Coulter. She's very bright, and in most cases she does a great job pointing out the inherent stupidity in positions taken by liberals. But she does go a little over-the-top sometimes--after all, she is a media personality, and attention (for whatever reason) means ratings. It's likely a calculated gambit...

As for her attack on the 9/11 widows, I don't operate under the assumption that all 9/11 widows are beyond reproach. There are a number who have squandered large sums of taxpayer money that was given to them (like the Long Island woman who spent several hundred thousand dollars on shoes) and then there are others who are politicizing the entire affair (accusing Bush of knowing the attack was coming, faulting the government for not responding properly or giving them enough money, etc.) and using their status as widows/victims to insulate themselves from attack--"how dare you pick on me--I'm a 9/11 widow!" And that's bullsh*t. All that said, I don't support Ms. Coulter's manner of expressing her views, but I do believe that anyone--9/11 widows, Barbra Streisand, whomever--who wants to enter into the game and speak out becomes fair game for others who have the same right. If you can't take the flack that will come in response to a controversial viewpoint, then keep your mouth shut.

Your suggestion that conservatives would be happy with 9/11 because it killed liberals is just sick. Honestly, I don't know too many people who think like that at all--but the ones who express it often seem to be liberals. Like the feminist who wrote of her hope that Justice Clarence Thomas would die of a heart attack, the moonbat bloggers who threaten conservatives, and assorted left wing nuts who wish death upon the Bush twins so that the President would know how they felt.

I hope your question isn't an indication of your own biases and that you're just playing devil's advocate. But if you really believe that all conservatives think in this manner, you need to open your mind.

I'm pretty liberal. But Ann Coulter does not HATE 911 widows. She hates the fact that they are using their unfortunate situation to push their own political agenda and are now living an almost celebrity status. I don't know if I agree with Ann Coulter, but I know she doesn't "hate" them.

And your second question is stupid. No conservatives (or liberals or moderates or practically anyone else for that matter) thinks 9/11 was a good thing.

You should try reading her book(s) first before you make accusations like that.

You need to read her book, because you sound ignorant.
She is talking about 4 widows out of 2000 who have received fame and fortune. These 4 are held up in the Liberal media as icons yet the other 2000 have no voice in the Left and are silenced as their opinions differ from the 4.
The Far Left has no love loss for the victims of 911 as they see them as Capitalist and Neocons. A well known Liberal Prof. at the U of Colorado called the victims in the trade towers, "Little Ickmans who deserved what they got".
You are proud to associate yourself with these people?
She is called a plagarist because she quotes and footnotes what the Left doesn`t want you to hear.
They rewrite what she said.
Her book is cramed full of attacks backed up with facts, documented and footnoted for you to look up, but the Left doesn`t mention these as they can`t. So the only thing they can go after is the mention of the 4 to prevent you from reading the book and educating yourself.

No. I don't like Ann Coulter OR Rush Limbaugh. On some issues, I'm liberal, while on others, conservative. If anyone thinks 9/11 was a good thing in any form, that person is an enemy of our country.

9/11 killed Americans. I personally wanted to nuke Afghanistan when i saw it (good thing I wasn't president).

The widows of 9/11, however, should not use their grief as tool for gain, nor does the fact they lost loved ones give them any more political leverage than anyone else.

Ann Coulter is free to speak her mind, I don't always agree with her (like in this case), but, she is quite hilarious. If she were more reserved, she wouldn't be Ann Coulter.

I find it really hard to believe that she would say something like that. But, if she did, then I could not support her.
She may be rough on liberals but someone has to do it. I get tired of constantly being attacked by liberals myself and I am glad someone has the guts to stand up and do something.
I hope Ms Coulter never gets discouraged and I hope she keeps fighting the good fight.
The people who died on September 11th, 2001, were not only liberals. Many people were murdered that day and the ones who orchestrated it will receive the justice they deserve.
And most if not all conservatives would agree with me that murder of any kind is always wrong. Obviously.
I hope this answers your question adequately.

I don't agree with her 100% but I do think that using a spouse or loved one's death to gain 15 minutes of fame & pushing politcal agenda is wrong - but then again I guess that's life.

911 was not good for anybody - especially terrorist. Liberals are a neccesary evil. Sometimes if they try hard they can have good ideas & solutions that benefits all americans. But the last 6 years they have not acted that way.

Openly? No. Secretly. Yes. Everyone is jealous of all the cash payouts. Basically, Ann Coulter is cashing in too but I think she is making a good point and doing a good job of shutting people up. It's hard to pity someone who has risen above to riches and fame through the exploitation of the atrocity of thier spouse's death.

We must all have compassion for Ann Coulter. She was seriously brain damaged in the mosh pit at a John Tesh concert. The fact that conservatives support her is just a re-affirmation that they will support any position pushed by idiots like Bush et-al.

I don't think she was sending a message of hate, just pointing out that these women took advantage of their situation. And no, conservatives don't think 9/11 was good because it killed liberals. I hope you don't really think that low of us.
