"If Bush was a disease what would it be" What a bunch of useless whiners. Fase facts Libs you have nothing to offer but hand wringing and whinning when it comes to offering a better way you have nothing.

Thats all they ever do. I can't imagine the USA now if Kerry would've been in office. He would be lost flipping around like a surfer in a sharks mouth. I can't believe that Liberals think all these problems in the world will go away. They are Muslim extremist that want to kill all Westerners. If they don't believe it go there on a peace mission all of you. I'm sure GWB would pull out all the troops if they could find a better way to stop them. If all the troops served got Purple Hearts like Kerry they would have to open up another bronze factory for the amount he got in 4 months.

Apparently not, the Democrat Party has been co-opted by the loony left wing fringe. Any idea that they can advance is just warmed over from the New Deal or the Great Society. All their ideas have been tried and failed over and over again during the 60 years that they were in power.

So, now they are reduced to calling the president names like jealous children. Who are they going to offer as an alternative? Their only choices are Al Gore, a proven loser who plans to run on a platform of junk science or Hillary Clinton the candidate with the highest negatives since the invention of the political consultant.

Chances are that they will get a new Republican president they can learn to hate and we will have to put up with another 8 years of whinning.

I will add to Humanist's answer just 3 questions. I have many more but let's start with these three:

1. A Boeing 767 travelling at 590 mph has more energy than a Boeing 757 travelling at 530 mph. (Bigger plane - more mass, higher speed, therefore more kinetic energy). Also reinforced concrete and steel can sustain greater impact than glass and steel. How come the 757 plowed through more than 235 feet of concrete and steel (Pentagon) and the 767 couldn't even go through 208 feet of glass and steel (WTC tower 2)? Physically untenable.

2. A 1368 foot tall building with 110 floors (approx 12.44 ft per floor) takes 96.9 seconds to collapse under the "pancaking" or "progressive collapse" theory. The WTC towers took close to 10 seconds. 9.25 seconds is the free fall time from the top of the towers. So what force accelerated the collapse of the towers?

3. Gravity on the earth's surface is a unidirectional force : DOWNWARDS. Why are there plumes and projectiles going sideways and upwards in the videos of the WTC collapse?

I haven't mentioned the name of Shrub anywhere. So you can't say I am whining and complaining. Just answer my questions with solid scientific proof. It's open to any republican, or even ANY PERSON, regardless of political belief, to attempt to explain these paradoxes.

And as you see I have already proved you wrong.

O.K. I'll take your challenge.
Why did the President lie to the american people and the U.N about proof of WMD in Iraq?
Why does the President support tax breaks for the richest 2% of the population of the UNited States?
Why does this administration keep cutting funds for schooling, despite their claims of "No child left behind"?
Why is it that Vice President Cheny's former company Halle Burton hold over 80% of all the work contracts in Iraq.? BIllions of dollars worth.
While it is easy to say that all govermental agencies are to some degree inept and corrupt. We are seeing a wholesale looting of our American economy to satisfy a greedy few. Shall I go on?
How about the Supreme Court ruling that the Government can take away your home to build a strip mall?

Or violation of the 4th amendment which does not allow illegal search and siezure?

You don't have to whine to find fault with the Bush administration, you just have to look at the facts.

OK, a question that maybe you can answer? How come the contract on the twin towers and building 7 ended on the morning of 9/11, Pres. Bush's younger brother was in charge of that contract.

How come the buildings owned by Silverstein were the only ones affected when the planes went in and were the only ones pulled. Other Buildings surrounding the WTC stood still.

Sadly we have developed a system which leaves politicians with the need to campaign constantly. This question itself demonstrates that the problem is on both sides (I can't help but notice that you're whining about liberals ).

The time really is ripe for an effective third party, as the biggest problems faced by America seem to be the Republican Party (in the grips of big business and Taliban-like fundamentalists) followed closely by the Democratic Party (in the grips of "identity politics" and folks who don't seem to understand the importance of a good business climate).

There - now I've contributed my own whining.

Not everyone whines about the President. A lot of people complain about the President, but it's not just liberals. Bad questions come from both ends of the spectrum. I've seen plenty of questions from conservatives that were pretty bad. And I don't think the wording of your question improves matters. Calling liberals a "bunch of useless whiners" is generalizing based on questions posed by pretty much the same people over and over. I've seen some legitimate questions. I've seen some questions that are basically rants. MOST of the time (not all), it's the same people. You know who yours are and we know who ours are. WBrian_28 couldn't have said it better.

Normally, you've been a little bit above this particular fray, Ethan, so I'm a little surprised at the question.

That said, there are a lot of questions like that out there. In return, most questions from Conservatives are nothing more than: "Why do Libtards hate America?" "Who's more ugly Jonn Kerry or Hilladyke Clinton" or "Liberals, do you still believe in the American way?"

It's a two-way street on this particular forum. I don't see any real policy debate from Conservatives on here either. From time to time, when a legitimate question is answered, there are folks from both sides who can take part in a challenging debate with facts, information, and passionate arguments.

For the few of us who like to agree to disagree and wish to do it with respect, those moments are few and far between. Sometimes, admittedly, it's fun to fling mud, and when forced to do it, I can fling mud with the best of 'em. But I'd prefer to have it out over facts and figuratively shake hands when it's all over.

So, in answer to your question: Yes, there are liberals out there who can ask legitimate questions. This forum seems to pay little attention to them however, because most people seem to want to hurl insults at each other because they find that more entertaining.

The fact that W will go down in history as the worst President ever is something conservatives and Republicans are going to have to live with.
Are you satisfied with the state of the economy? Do you see progress being made in Iraq? Are you concerned about global warming? It's not just Bush, it's the entire conservative agenda...

Oh Ethan M,I thought you were so much more elegant and well-thought out in your prose, neat as a tack conservative that you are.How about this:

Instead of an invasion of Iraq lets only attack Al Qaeda cells.

I will "fase" the facts just like you said therelittle boy.And to think I felt like a big jerk embarrasing you a little last week. Now lighten up.
